Gelert Ottawa 4 Canopy

Great canopy, purchased to use with my rock 5 tent, and the ties easily allow you to sort of pull it over tunnel tents so was so pleased! Perfect shelter for your cookwear & shoes. We cooked in ours, making sure the cooker was well away from the sides and was fine - great for rainy days. The windows are worth the few extra pennies as you get a bit of light, and its nice and cost sat watching the rain :) would recommend!

probably would have been better to get a conventional 3m square gazebo, it would have more use too. this is fiddly to put up, and not terribly stable unless you can tie it to a tree or car or something

Bought this to go with my outwell tent, arrived very quickly. Well packaged. Her indoors said lets check it, what a good job we did, storage bag was ripped. Thought well thats not to serious, took out the canopy, a line of small holes init. Before sending these out they should be checked. When buying new, one expects new, not shop soiled or used.

I bought this product and when it arrived it had holes in the material probably this is why it was so cheap. Not much use when it is supposed to keep you dry as an extension. Thanks to the supplier they replaced this item and it is very good I use it as a cover for my 2 person tent and can sit on chairs under it as well

FANTASTIC !!! We needed a canopy front for our Outwell Wyomming 4 Tent ,this was just what we needed, we can now sit outside the tent when its raining but still have some cover to keep dry. We would recommend this canopy (measure the front width and height of your tent) and with a little adjustments it fits great. Its Strong and Well Made Highly recommend this product.

ONCE UP IT DID THE JOB AS DESCRIBED, HOWEVER I DO THINK AS THIS IS TO ATTACH TO THE GELERT TENT THEN IT SHOULD HAVE SOME TOGGLES OR TIES TO ATTACH THEM BOTH TOGETHER FOR A FIRMER AND MORE STABLE CANOPY. IT NEEDS TWO PEOPLE TO PLACE THE CANOPY IN PLACE OR IT SLIDES FROM THE MIDDLE AS IT IS BEING PINNED DOWN. iT DOES THE JOB, BUT A LITTLE MORE THOUGHT FROM THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT GO AMISS AND WOULD MAKE IT MUCH EASIER TO PUT TOGETHER.

I recently bought the Gelert extension for my Outwell tent, couldnt get the exact Outwell one so decided to risk it and "make another model fit" to all intents and purposes it worked well for us in particularly extreme camping conditions. The only annoying point was I bought a brand new product only to discover when opened that it had very definitely been used, someone elses muddy camping trip still stuck to the bottom of the extension, all the bits there there it just irked me that someone had sold it on as new. If you pay the price of new you expect new.

I bought this to use as a canopy at the back of my car for outdoor events. It is fantastic for that purpose. Plenty of space - we had two large lawn chairs in it with lots of room left over. Some day maybe manufacturers will make car awnings, but in the meantime this is an excellent alternative.
