Nice Low Profile Light Kit
I was searching everywhere for a low profile light kit for my ceiling fan. I was concerned that this item would not fit my Farmington fan I purchased from a home improvement store. Not only did this item fit, but the color is almost a perfect match. This light kit is only a little over 3" in height, which was exactly what I was looking for. It also allows you to rout the pull string for the fan through the light so it looks like the fan came with the light kit.My only complaint is the dome gets very hot running two 65w conventional bulbs. I swapped out the bulbs it comes with and replaced them with LED candelabra bulbs. This greatly reduces the amount of heat the light creates.As for lighting, I think it is perfect in the 13'x14' room I have it installed in. The light is about 7' from the floor, and it lights the room very well. The dome is thick glass, and screws into place instead of using thumb screws to hold it on.This is a great light, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a low profile light for their ceiling fan.

Good Option
Easy install. Decent quality. I'd prefer it to have 3 instead of 2 candelabra base bulbs (LED bulbs are included - 500 lumens/ea) as this isn't very bright in a decent sized bedroom. Also the low profile focuses the light mainly downwards and not radially. Overall still good all things considered.

Not universal
This is a very nice light kit. Modern and sleek. But it is not universal. We purchased it for our Harbor Breeze fan and it doesn’t fit. Gotta return it.

Ceiling fan light kit
This is exactly what I was looking for. Our bedroom ceilings are low and our ceiling fans are nice in the summer, but do not match the style of the rest of our house. We were able to swap the light kit for our current ceiling fan with this and it looks fantastic. Nice low profile, does not collect as much dust as the old light kit. Only warning is that this light kit may not be compatible with all ceiling fans. We ended up purchasing a plastic part to mount this where the existing light kit had been mounted. Wiring is standard, shouldn't be an issue for anyone who's ever changed a light.

Perfect light for the space I needed
I was looking for a light for the ceiling fan in the catio when I stumbled upon this one. I needed a light that didn't hang down from the fan. My cats try to jump on everything and since this light is only a couple of inches from the fan, the cats have not shown any interest in it. If I ever need another ceiling fan light, I would buy this one again.

Purchased this low-profile lighting kit to replace an original halogen lighting kit installed on a 20-year old Emerson ceiling fan (Model no. CF815WW00) located in a bedroom (8 ft. ceiling height). This reasonably priced kit fit perfectly with full Emerson hardware compatibility and easy wiring – replaced in 30-45 minutes without having to remove fan from ceiling mount. Kit comes with two (2) 60-watt incandescent bulbs (candelabra base) – these can be readily upgraded to LED candelabra bulbs, if so desired.

Low profile but very dim
Looks great but the lights that come with it are very dim. Maybe suitable for a bedroom but not an office.
