nice quality ink, good for art and calligraphy, a dark rich black color that can be washed out with water to create gray washes. Its easy to use with the spout and its a good amount of ink for the cost

I do a lot of ink on watercolor paper and this ink is by far my favorite. Brushes nice and works beautifully with dip pens. I have also gelli printed with it. Very nice ink.

I'm a sumi newbie so take this with a grain of salt maybe. That said, I love this ink. I'm using it for Etegami and it stays put when I let it dry and use watercolors with it. Etegami cards are made of paper that bleeds readily and this blurs beautifully into this paper if you catch it with some water before it sets. It's a nice consistency, not thick or heavy but not too watery.

Writes great, smells like dirt. Once you get used to the mineral smell it's a good ink.

Great quality ink. The bottle is genius how it dispenses ink. Makes it leak proof and difficult to spill. It also allows for controlled pouring of the quantity of ink.

I use this ink with a dip pen and it works exceptionally well. I got it hoping it would work with alcohol markers and that it does. Can’t wait to order more in a couple years when this bottle runs out. This is one of my first inks so I don’t have much to compare it to, but from my experience, I like it 👍
