I've used spin bikes at physical therapy after hip replacement surgery and enjoyed them. I decided to get one for home use and decided on this MaxKare Indoor Cycling Bike Trainer Spin Bike even though there were few reviews. It is built like a tank - and almost as heavy. Packaging is very good and protected the product well during shipping. Build quality is excellent- much better than expected. Action is very smooth and quiet. Adjustments are easy and good. Electronics are useful and do work well and convenient to have heart rate. Only possible negatives would be that I did purchase a much better seat, which made a wonderful improvement. It is easy to assemble, but they do leave out how to attach the electronics. However, after staring at it, it was easy to figure out. (there are two screws on the back of the electronic unit that you unscrew then mount through mounting holes on handlebars). The instructions are poor for the electronics, but you can make sense of it all after a few uses. It would be nice if the manufacturer included a built-in light for the LCD display, as it is difficult to read. (I purchased a little LED clip-on light used for reading books and it works great.) Make sure to clean the chromed part of the flywheel with rubbing alcohol to remove all the sticky residue from the packing tape, etc. I sprayed the flywheel rim that makes contact with the resistance pad with light silicone, which made it even smoother action. Since no instructions were included to assist in proper set-up of seat height, handlebars, distance between seat and handlebars, etc - it was easy to find all the required info by simply Googling "spin bike setup". It helped a lot. It would be better if the little wheels on the front floor stabilizer were larger, as it is a little difficult to move the unit around, especially on carpet. To move the unit around you only need to stand in front of the unit and push down on the handlebars so the little wheels will roll.All-in-all it works just as good as the spin bikes at physical therapy. I would certainly recommend this MaxKare Indoor Cycling Bike Trainer Spin Bike.

For the price, I am not disappointing in this bike. My weight plus the bikes, I find this thing very sturdy with no wobble on my carpet. Riding this thing really gets my heart pumping and my body sweating, which is what I need right now since I rarely ride outside. The only change I had to make was the bike seat for one with more padding. The main chassis came pre-assembled. I just had to put on the handles, pedals etc. Speaking of the pedals, I just left the toe brackets on and I ride with them flipped over with shoes on. I use the Lcd monitor in default mode with it flashing between pulse, distance, speed, calories and time. I'm impressed with this machine and that I finally made the purchase on one. Did I mention that this bike arrived 4 days early? Well it did to my excitement! Hopefully I can keep at this and keep this body in great health. I opted for this spin bike because I am new to the stationary bike world and didn't want to "go all out" on a Pelaton if I was going to let this one pile up dust and eventually sell it to a relative for a fraction of what I paid for it.In about 30 minutes time, My first observation is that it is very quiet, the pedals feel very smooth and the wheel is balanced very well. Even a new guy like me knows that these are important. Very comfortable as a beginner.**This is an updated review, as the company went out of their way to make things right. For the kind of money, this was a no brainer. Will recommend this product to good friends and family.

This is a first for me. I like to ride my bike, but sometimes the weather isn't good also I get lazy and don't bother. I purchased this indoor bike so that I don't have an excuse. So far it has worked out great. I set it up in my office, found some indoor cycling video's on You Tube casted to my TV I'm riding in Italy or Germany in no time. The bike was very easy to assemble in about 30 minutes. Did modify the angle of the readout by using longer screws and a wedge to raise it up. Also cut off 2 inches on the seat post so that my wife could use it she is 5ft tall, also added an additional hole for the lock knob. Purchased a gel seat cushion. using it every day, got to make sure it doesn't become a clothes hanger. For the price it is a very sturdy machine the 44 pound flywheel really gives a good feel.

This bike arrived way earlier than the estaimated delivery date. The instruction very clear but I figured it out, it wasn't that hard because there was only a few parts to assemble. The bike was solid and now we can watch TV and exercise at the same time. This bike looks solidly made, great product!

I bought this bike because it’s inexpensive (would cost the same amount as a year-long gym membership but which I never have time to use) and I was feeling awful about my body. I've been using this bike 4 days a week for the past two weeks and I already feel better. It's quiet, so I can workout at 6:30 in the morning in our small apartment in NY and I never, ever worry about my daughter waking up from the noise. It's very sturdy,my friend who works in gym said it's as good as any gym bike at his place.

Having a spin bike at home is new to me, and this is my first indoor exercise equipment. I've been looking for something that I could have a great workout w/o paying gym monthly. it is easy to move (I'm 5'7" , 162lbs) and easy to adjust to individual settings. A simple job to me to have it assembled. Spinning smoothly when i ride on the pedals. Working out at home is amazing. Hopefully i will push myself lose some weight in next few month.
