I wasn’t expecting to like this keyboard this much, but I’m honestly impressed. It’s slim and stylish but still feels sturdy, and the keys are super comfortable to type on. I've been using it daily for work and haven’t had a single issue. The wireless connection is fast and stable, and it doesn’t take up much desk space either. The built-in rechargeable battery is a huge bonus — I’ve only charged it once so far and it's still going strong. Pros: Very solid build for a slim keyboard Nice typing feel — quiet, soft, but responsive No lag on wireless connection Rechargeable battery lasts for weeks Full-size layout with number pad Cons: No backlight (not a dealbreaker, but worth noting) Slightly smaller keys than standard desktop keyboards (took a few hours to adjust) Would definitely recommend if you want something compact and reliable, but still good quality. I'm about to order this keyboard for the third time. It's a great keyboard: - easy to set up, - very comfortable low-travel and quiet keys with good tactile feedback, - long interval between re-charge, - Windows and Ctrl keys on the right-hand of the spacebar — for me the best feature as I'm a blind user and make full use of keyboard shortcuts to speed up my productivity. The trade-off for the Windows key to the right of the spacebar is the slightly awkward access to the backslash and pipe keys that require simultaneously pressing the Fn key with z and x respectively. I also use backslash a lot, but after a week or so I found my fingers got used to the tortuous left-hand two-finger dance . The four extra function keys above the number pad are also useful; one of these days I might get round to seeing if I can re-program two of them to backslash and pipe. Each of my first two keyboards lasted about 26 months. However I don't really see this as a concern as they both received severe punishment. I take this keyboard between my three computers and even use it while riding in our car. The first keyboard was the victim of a little accident (no-one came to harm, just the keyboard) and the second just stopped operating with the relationship between the key pressed and the key received by the computer just inexplicably shattering one morning. So just over £1/mo to possess and punish one of these keyboards so far. The only (minor) durability fail is that after about 6 months the rubber feat start separating from the keyboard, so you have to replace these with not entirely compatible ones. Not really a problem, though!

I actually really love this keyboard. It's light, but still feels substantial - it has a great tactile feel without being too "clicky". It's also very slim so doesn't take up a lot of space, visually or physically, but still feels comfortable to use for hours. And the fact that it's wireless (the main draw for me) is fabulous too, I've not had any issues with the keyboard staying connected. I do have a couple of minor quibbles. One is that there is no place on the keyboard itself to store the dongle - so it might be easy to lose when moving equipment around. I do plan on taking this with me on the go (the keyboard is so slim it would be really easy!) but definitely either have to keep the dongle attached to a laptop or make sure to put it in a bag (ie with the mouse or something). Two, is that the edges of the dongle are actually really sharp. I've cut my hand (minorly, of course, more like a scratch) on it when picking up my laptop. This being said, they are really easy things to overlook, and I have not taken any stars off for this. Less minor is the numpad. It worked wonderfully when I originally got it (maybe six weeks ago now) but in the past week or so the numpad has been a bit fiddly to use. The physical build is still strong, but sometimes the numpad turns off for no reason (while I'm still working on the main part of the keyboard), and when I try to turn it back on, there's a delay, so it messes up my work for a bit. It's *almost* like it's a connection thing, but the regular part of the keyboard works fine so I don't think that's it. I've so far fixed it by fiddling with the numlock on and off for a bit, but with the delay it's an interruption to my working day. I thought originally it may have needed a charge (I wouldn't fault it for doing so after a month or so!) but the issue remains (albeit less frequently) after charging overnight (started up again a day or two later). Still, I do always get it to work again, so it's not been a huge issue - just a damper on what would otherwise be an amazing keyboard. Overall though I think it's great value for money. There are much more expensive keyboards out there but I've been super happy with this.

I was looking for a decent sized keyboard to work with my laptop and stand setup that offered all the necessary keys as a desktop but with a much slimmer profile so it fits all on a small desk - This keyboard ticks all the boxes and I am very pleased with my purchase. It feels solidly constructed from premium plastics and metal, wireless enabled with 2.4Ghz dongle (so no trailing wires) and recharegeable with an indication of how much charge is left so you don't get caught out between charges. The device is completely plug and play and you're ready to go in seconds. The only concern others may have when considering this keyboard is that it is not Bluetooth and a spare USB-A slot needs to be reserved on the computer for the dongle however this isn't really a problem for me as I have additional peripheral slots with a separate USB extender hub. The keyboard feels very responsive without the need for undue pressure on the keys and for me a real pleasure to use although this is obviously a subjective observation as others may find the shallow key strokes somewhat different to what they are used to on other keyboards - personally I tend to type faster with this but then again, I only use two fingers to type. I also have an Arteck wireless mouse working with this setup and both these peripherals perfectly compliment each other especially if desk space is minimal.

UPDATED: After having issues 21months after I purchased the keyboard, I reached out to the seller and let them know. They were quick to reply and gave clear instructions to help resolve the issue. Although that didn't help, they did then issue me with a new replacement which is just amazing. They also said, the replacement is within warranty. I would strongly recommend this seller and their keyboard. =================================== Below is my original review =================================== Sorry for the overall 1 star, the only reason is that it's stopped working after 21 months with me looking after it like it's the Mona Lisa. I expected it to last way longer. I LOVED this keyboard until this week. A lot of keys are not working properly, mainly around the centre of the keyboard ('G' 'H' and the spacebar). It's never been out of my home office, never eaten/drunk over, dropped or anything. I guess it just has a shelf life of around 18-20 months (as I've seen some others saying it stopped working). It IS a great product though, aside from the issues now making me need to purchase another. Just expected it to last way longer. It's very quiet, light, slim and sleek. for the price, it was great value for money. Battery lasts for ages. I use it for work 5 days a week and do a lot of typing, I must have charged it less than 5 times easily in the whole time I've had it! Maybe 3 or 4 times? That's seriously impressive. Thanks, Arteck

Honestly this keyboard is one of the best budget keyboards that I have come across. The keys feel smooth and responsive. The keyboard is light yet doesn't feel fragile. Really good quality keyboard.

Nice good-looking keyboard, slim, good tactile response from keys, neat stowing for USB bluetooth plug, good value for money, useful function-key and other locks with LED indicators. All-in-all an excellent keyboard.

I've become quite fond of chiclet short travel keyboards. Until recently I've been using my work PC laptop keyboard on a tilted stand, with a larger monitor above and behind. However I've come to realise it's not the most ergonomic setup and the laptop keys can feel a bit cramped, not to mention the lack of a numeric keyboard. After doing some research, I decided a wireless keyboard is preferable (no wires to contend with) but full size and of course a chiclet 'laptop-like' key action. The Arteck 2.4G wireless keyboard (model HW192) ticked all boxes and looks to be very popular so I decided to give it a go. In the box you get the keyboard, a micro-USB charging cable and a small USB dongle receiver. The keyboard has a non-replaceable built-in Lithium battery and takes just a couple of hours to fully charge. A LED indicator shows the status of charging, going from red to green once full. There's a power switch as well although you really don't need to use it for regular use, the keyboard goes into standby after no use for a while. Wake up is almost instant and battery life is quoted as an impressive 360 hrs continuous use on a single charge. The keyboard has a stainless steel base and plastic top. It's not as heavy as some of the more expensive premium all-metal keyboards but at around 400g it's solid enough so as not to slide around or rattle. I also like the slight tilted angle towards the user which makes for more comfortable typing. There are no drivers needed to use the keyboard. You just plug in the small USB receiver into your computer and that's it. The keyboard action is positive, not very noisy and has a satisfying but very short action with no noticeable bounce. Infact when you bottom the keys there is quite a hard dead feel which might take a bit of getting use to. The key caps don't rattle and the steel base eliminates any flexing. There are separate LED indicators for caps lock (green), numerical lock (green) and special functions on the Fn keys (blue), as well as charge level. This is a proper full-size UK keyboard layout with every key function you would wish for. The special functions are enabled with the Fn lock key (blue light) and then you can control media playback (mute, volume, track, play), screen brightness, switching windows, shortcuts for email, web browser, calculator, My Computer, search, print screen and even a battery meter for the keyboard. The latter flashes the power indicator 1 to 4 times according to remaining charge level. Anything I would improve? The Enter key is only a single row in height and I find myself frequently hitting the # key above it (coming from keyboards with a larger enter key). The numerical keypad enter key is bigger, but it does take some time to adapt your muscle memory. USB-C instead of micro USB would be nice to have. I haven't tested this but it would be great if you could use it as a wired keyboard via the USB socket and a cable (should you lose or forget the receiver). There is also no storage under the keyboard where you could safely store the receiver during transit.

I love this keyboard but, I need a keyboard that is backlit. If you are using this keyboard in the light then It's great. I use it as a portable keyboard that I sit on my lap when I'm entering date on my Home Theater PC. The keys don't click and there isn't much travel, but being a touch typist this hasn't caused any problems for me. My problem is that I have to turn the lights on in my home theater room in order to find my home keys. The "bumps" are not very high do not easy to feel. This keyboard is very sturdy and strong. I love the feel of it when I'm picking it up an setting it down. I don't worry about breaking it, and occasionally I've dropped things on it. No problem. Like I said, it's sturdy. Besides that I've been using it for 5 months and it's still on the original charge. Never had a problem with connections and I can't tell that it's not a wired keyboard.

Unfortunately for me the keyboard had some defect, though the supplier had given me an upgraded version. But I must give 5 stars for the customer service. I was contacted immediately and offered replacement new keyboard of my choice since the same was not available. However I wanted the same so they approved refund immediately. One of the best customer support I have come across. It’s just my bad luck that the one got happened to be the last piece. Thank you very much for the excellent after sales support.
