Etekcity 24" (60cm) 5-in-1 Photography Reflector, Multi-Disc Light Reflectors for Photography, Collapsible with Bag - Translucent, Silver, Gold, White and Black

I was very happy with my purchase. The reflector runs to true to size has stated in the description. Unlike how the image makes it seem it's NOT 5 separate differs and reflects as other reviews have said. That being said it's great for any photographer that need a great on the go reflectors and diffuser for outdoor and indoor photography. The bag has a loop which is great to just clip it to your bag and head out. The disc is very flexible which adds to its versatility. The one thing that I had difficulty was folding it back into the bag but after some practice, it becomes pretty easy. Also, be careful when you first open the bag so that you hit your self with it. That sadly did happen to me :(. But overall for the price, you are getting a great versatile reflector and diffuser that any experienced or beginner photography would definitely enjoy.

I just received this so I haven't tried it in the field yet, but I thought I would quickly write down and expand on the title of the product. It is, indeed, a "5-in1". Specifically, and unlike the first photo in the product images, it is NOT 5 separate panels. This kit consists of three (3) things: one zippered case, one diffuser panel and one 4-sided zippered cover for that diffuser panel. The 4-sided zippered cover has 4 different "finishes": black, white, silver and gold. The diffuser panel is the only part with a wire rim for rigidity, and the 4-sided reflector cover must be zipped over the diffuser panel for use as a rigid reflector or shade. This being said- as much as I am slightly disappointed that this was not 5 individual panels, I do appreciate the ingenuity of making this a compact set with a smart storage feature. It is a 24"-diameter panel that folds down into a 9"-diameter zippered case. So far it appears to be of decent quality for the budget price.

You're going to need a bigger one for photos that are not close-up, but it works very well

This is a great basic light deflector. It's a nice size for traveling and will certainly get the job done for portrait jobs or smaller areas. It's versatile in that is has the 5 different facings. It's nice and lightweight, but still sturdy. The material would be prone to being ripped or torn easily (I don't think that can be helped because if it was thicker, it would be uncomfortable to carry or position), so be sure to fold it up after each use or before throwing it in a trunk or back seat. Folding it up for me was a challenge at first, but once you get it right a few times, it's MUCH easier. If you're a new photographer or using a deflector for the first time, check out some of the tutorials on the internet. I also like to use this when I'm doing portrait photography in an area of direct sunlight. I'll have an assistant hold it in the path of the sunlight to take some of the harsh light off of my subject. Overall, a good purchase and something every photographer should have in his/her collection!

I use these reflectors for flower and macro photography, I already had a 12" dia set but found them a little small, the 24" size is perfect, I use for reflecting light or making an impromptu background or blocking strong sunlight.. They fold up easily into a much smaller package than 12" ones, taking up very little space aprox 6".If you are entering the close up photography world this should be your first purchase after a macro lens.
