These make very effective sound deadening panels, and are stiff enough to make construction very easy

Great product. I had a lot of issues gettin a good mix down in my studio. Now i have a flat EQ space. Very easy to use and effective at absorbing most frequencies. Definitely were a mask and gloves when installing in panels.

Well packaged and easy to install

These suckers really deaden sound. I attacted to to a 2x4 foot waffle board and wrapped with an old bed sheet for some sound isolation around the drums in my basement. Worked just as intended. Shipping was a bit much for these, in retrospect I would have gone down the street to the industrial supply place and picked it up for 15 bucks more to have it a week earlier rather than pay exorberant shipping rates.

Good solid product great price for my mudroom update

Worked better than I could have hoped for. Insulated the door, floor, ceiling, and walls of a 36 x 36 sound isolation booth, and covered the walls with 3" acoustic squares. The door, floor, ceiling, and walls were built by ripping 2x4's in half, sandwiching the fire batts between sheets of 1/4" luan plywood. Then adhering 3" acoustic tiles to the surface of the door, wall and ceiling for anechoic purposes. The floor was a 1" rubber mat. Used the booth to pipe in 110 dB of chainsaw sound for the purposes of demonstrating hearing protection. Noise on the outside of the booth was 68 dB, which is barely above ambient for a busy convention center hall.
