Get it if you like strong tea with good colour.

It has quality control issues. We've been using this since november 2017 (first order on amazon) but sad to say recently it has become hit or a miss... different tastes every different time. It was bad in last november (2020) order (first time this has happened). Ordered 1kg again in february and it was the best in the last few years! So I thought last time was a one off issue. ordered 2 1kgs in april and again it's bad. Worse than the november order. I don't know what process is going on but there are some serious quality control issues with the product.Now that out of the way, provided you get a good quality product, it is one of the best chais you probably would've ever tasted. We've been introduced to assam tea in around 2015 when close relatives used to live in Guwahati and bring unbranded local tea directly bought from farmers. After that they got transferred to another city and ever since, goodwyn has been the go to chai for both us and them. Nothing in the market from big brands even comes close. I've tried a few other assam teas available in amazon but ("best of") Goodwyn tops everything of those too... Even the poor quality orders tasted better than the branded ones.(red label, tata etc.,). I hope they do something about the quality control issues. It's fine even if it comes at a slightly higher price (cuz it's absolutely worth it). There's nothing else around here or online that tastes this good and Assam isn't exactly close to Andhra Pradesh :(

One of my friend has visited Assam for a meeting and gifted me with an Assam Tea, which I liked and browsed Amazon for a re-order and found this. The taste is good with good packing to keep up the aroma and its really an energizing and nerve refreshing TEA.

Love the flavour of strong Assam tea 🥳💗 makes for a lovely cup of tea with milk or masala tea.A bit strong for black tea so put less of it after you turn off the heat for black tea.I could drink this whenever I don't manage to get my chaai from Assam.

Taste is not as good as what I bought before.

I really like this tea, flavour wise.One of the best Assam teas I have had, but delivery and availability are very flaky for this.I used to buy 2-4 packs in one go, then more recently first it became unavailable, then they have 50rs delivery charge for normal delivery from other vendors and it’s 100 rs more expensive if it’s Amazon, which is very expensive compared to other brands .. so all in all now trying other blends.. why take so much headache of delivery and all for tea.rungtas seem comparable without so much headache, so just subscribed it as a replacement to this
