Smooth and Quiet
Excellent tires. They are so quiet. The ride is smooth, and easily controllable at various speeds. I had a previous set of these tires, and they lasted me 20 years with moderate care. Reasonable price. I would highly recommend for comfort riding on the street, paved bike trails, or the sidewalk. They are not so good on grass or rough terrain where you would need more of an irregular grip for better performance, but mostly everything is paved around where I live, so they work out fine on my 20-year-old, rebuilt, 26" Giant Sedona DX.

Excellent Rear Tires for Adult Tricycle
At first I thought these were too narrow as compared to the original tires on my Schwinn Meridian Adult Tricycle, but I was wrong. They seem to decrease the friction and make pedaling easier. In addition, they have much deeper tread than the original tires. These should last me 2-3 years, and I ride about 2,500 miles a year.

Fits standard 26" ATB bikes
I had to replace my old knobby trail tires with something more street friendly. These are better then the knobbies for the street because they are not dirt climbers, and I can pump them up to 55 PSI for less rolling resistance.

Decent choice for street and easier dirt trails
Good grip on streets (including wet conditions and slippery leaves on streets) but it also works well for grass, and light trail riding(hardpack). Fairly fast rolling (in exchange, it doesn't handle mud or large obstacles as well as an aggressive tread). Good as a rear tire. Smooth ride. Extremely tight fitting and a bit difficult to install--because this tire fits more snugly into the rim than most other tires we have. Will adjust review after long term use...

the perfect all-terrain MTB tire
Just finished installing these tires and I just had to write a review. Installation was fast and only required a bit of muscle and no tools. The tires are very black and very sharp. They transform the look of the blue '93 Jamis Cross Country MTB which still had the oem tan-walled knobs on. These tires roll fast- verrrrrrrry fast. I have another Jamis MTB with Continental Town & Country tires on it and these are just as fast rolling. I will say that the width seems a bit on the narrow side which is fine with me. They are 1.95" but I'd say more towards 1.75". I like the narrowness though because it makes them even faster. The tread on the tire is very nice looking and looks to be able to handle a variety of terrain. For $30 shipped for two tires, you just cannot beat them. Had the tires in three business days, service was second to none. Highly recommended seller and tire.

Tried and True
I fell in love with this style tread when I first used a set of tires with it back when I rode BMX 25 years ago (I think they were on a GT freestyle bike I had for a short time). It's halfway decent offroad, and it just dominates on pavement without too much rolling resistance like an off road tire will have. These Kendas replaced an old pair of this exact tire I had on my mountain bike when I bought it used. I don't ride a ton any more, but a fair amount, and these lasted me 10 years (for a short stint during that time of about 2 months, I commuted on this bike, otherwise used for quick trips to the store and occasional trail riding). That was after whoever owned the bike before me rode on them for who knows how long. The only reason they failed eventually was because of sun damage over the years and the rubber dry rotted to the point that the tube blew through the sidewall.I didn't see any reason to mess with success, so I just bought the same exact ones to replace those amazingly durable and grippy tires. The new ones seem just as well constructed as the old ones. The only thing I added this time was the Thorn Buster liners because that's been a constant struggle on all my bikes since I moved from the Northeast to SoCal (darn tumbleweed thorns!). Got new tubes for good measure and haven't had a single flat since. Will be buying these for all of my road-going mountain bike and cruiser needs in the future.

Great tire for the road and mild trail use!
If you bought a mountain bike and find that you use it more on pavement than the trails then this tire should be on your shopping list. It will transform your mountain bike into a hybrid for use on the road. It is a very fast rolling tire with low resistance but great cornering grip. Very high quality (mine are marked made in Tawain) and good looking as well. However, as others have mentioned, the tire is thinner than the stated 1.95". It measures 1.7" at 45 PSI. Also, you will lose some right height as it is a low profile design. I was concerned about it being too thin, but it rides and performs great! I highly recommend it.
