The stove in my apartment is awful. It’s ceramic, poor quality, and takes a VERY long time to heat up. It has made cooking something we dread. I remember missing the electric stoves of my childhood, and found this one. First use and omg what a difference! It heated up lightning fast and cooked my food fast and even cooled down faster than expected. 3 cheers for old fashioned electric stoves!

I got this to use while my kitchen is being gutted to the foundation. I’ve only used it once so far…. 1) you can’t cook while on the highest setting more than 15 min before it turns off. (Safety feature?) 2) after allowing it to cool off , I gave it another shot. We had to eat and food was half done. I put in in between 3 and 4. Food cooked completely it just took a little longer than normal. What can you expect it’s not a regular stove. At 3 and 4 it does stop heating to regulate temperature but turns back on to keep heat as consistent as possible. 3) don’t be alarmed of the smell when you first turn it on. It’s only the protective stuff they put on during manufacturing. I turn both eyes on for a couple minutes before using and it burned off. 4) does have a short cord, wish it was longer than 2 ft. Which isn’t fun when the hot plate has to sit on top of my microwave and stand. I’m vertically challenged. So it’s at my shoulder level I’m only giving 4 stars due to not being able to use it on high for longer period of time. And short power cord. But if you need something for temporary or on budget and can work with the settings this will work. I will update after longer use.

UPDATE 2/1/21: Folks, I'm sorry if I'm gushing, but I gotta tell you, this little stove is AWESOME. Really..... I've been using it at least 4 days a week and it's really neat. It heats up super fast, and once you learn to use it ( the knobs have numbers 1-4 on them), it's pretty simple to gauge your cooking. I've used stainless steel griddles, cast iron,. an enamel Dutch oven on this, and it works really well. I can't recommend this enough. Inexpensive and really works...... Guys, my gas needed to be turned off for a month (urghhh) so I panicked and purchased this item, an insta pot and pulled out my old Crock Pot. Anyway, I gotta tell you, THIS was a life saver... Yes, cooking on an electric stove is a bit different ( you really gotta watch stuff because it's tough to estimate when the coils are hot..), but honestly, I have absolutely no complaints. The unit heats up really quickly, and the knobs do turn on and off based on the non descriptive settings 1-5 ( i.e. when I see stuff boiling, like lentils, I turn the knob down to 1 or 2. The light turns on and off every few minutes as the temp adjusts....). Although it feels kinda cheap and flimsy, it's very lightweights and it works well and is serving its purpose. This was an excellent purchase during my emergency and well worth it. I'm keeping this baby.

Bought this for my RV that has a propane cooktop. I have a propane camp stove. But the RV also has exterior electrical outlets. We prefer to cook and eat outdoors when camping even when we have full hook-ups. Cooking with propane canisters is a lot more expensive than electric. This double burner is perfect for what we use it for. It doesn’t take up much storage space. It cooks more consistently and faster than my propane camp stove. We are extremely happy with this purchase. And the price point is really good for what we got with this product.

This little thing is great! Pros: -Immediately the appearance is great. -Super easy to use and set up. -Gets as hot as a regular stove. -No odor (after first initial use) Cons: -Doesn't seem too safe given that the right burner is so close to the knobs. -The power cord is pretty short (for my needs anyway but I made it work) -The actual burners aren't perfectly even so that definitely gets annoying when cooking but honestly not a deal breaker. -I'll probably never use both burners at once just because of how close they are together unless it's a small kettle and a small pot or pan? The cons are the only reason it's 3/5 and not higher. If you need a burner that gets HOT (I do regular cooking, frying and boiling on it) then tho is the one for you. If you need it to be PERFECT and those cons are deal breakers- sorry, this isn't for you. My spouse and I love it. Perfectly suits our needs.

You can fry chicken, fish easy! This is the one…. Pots or pans don’t slide on the burners! You will not be disappointed with this one! Two thumbs up
