One of the most remarkable voices from the 80's.
Excellent work in remastreing the original album and finding all the remixes and special editions produced after this great first Taylor Dayne Album. Pity she did not continue releasing more succesful albums(she succeeded with 3 albums and then no more) Still her leagcy is remarkable and this album plus the following "Can't Fight Fate" are her most remarkable. "Tell it to My Heart" and "Prove your Love" are by far her 2 signature songs but her powerful voice is always a pleasure to enjoy. If you enjoyed her voice back then, no doubt about it, this is a must.

Tell It To Cherry Pop Records: They do Outstanding Reissues
When Cherry Pop Records reissued Taylor Dayne's CDs Can't Fight Fate and Soul Dancing most people asked what about Tell It To My Heart? Well Cherry Red answers that question with a 2 Disc set that has the extended versions and single versions/remixes of the hits and many other nuggets. Disregard another review that claims the extended versions of Tell it To My Heart and Prove Your Love are not part of the reissue. THEY ARE HERE. All the tracks are resounded and the quality is first rate like most of the Cherry Pop reissues. This label has a pipeline to many major record labels to insure they don't use anything but original master tapes as long as they are available and useable. Treat yourself and try out this reissue along with Can't Fight Fate and Soul Dancing. An amazing singer with great music.
