The watch itself is great. The company I chose to get it from did a great job. The watch might as well have been brand new. The good: watch arrived clean, well packaged, fully functional and with all appropriate accessories. It shipped quickly. The seller did great. The bad: the battery life is not the greatest. Did all I could to optimize the battery life and I'm only able to get about a day and maybe a half. I know it says it should be 3 to 4 days on 1 charge but that's not going to happen with this watch. The app on the phone is ok. Some things are a bit confusing at least for me and I'm fairly tech savvy. I also had to reset the watch after setting it up the first time (downloading and installing the latest update and firmware) The first set up the rise to wake function wasnt working, and the watch wasnt connecting to bluetooth. I put it on charge over night and the next morning it told me to reset the watch. I did, and everything has worked great since. Overall very satisfied. The main issues are just getting used to the app which is my own issue not any fault of anyone else. So if you buy, just pick a seller with a good rating and hope for the best. Any purchase with anything is hit or miss, just do your research first.

OVERALL REVIEW: I bought two of these one for myself and one for my dad as a Christmas present. I’ve had it for about 2 months now. Upon receiving my package the original gear s3 box was slightly damaged but everything inside was in fantastic shape, no flaws and all original equipment. BATTERY LIFE REVIEW: The battery life of the gear s3 frontier is fantastic!! Even with heavy use and highly intensive screen savors the gear s3 frontier lasts at least 2 days which was far better then my Apple Watch and with minimal use it has lasted up to 4 days for me which is really nice. DURABILITY REVIEW: The rubber watch bands that came with the watch were originals and were in good condition. the watch it’s self arrived in good condition and is well made. One thing that I am bummed about is that the gray paint on the bezel wheel is easily scratch under daily use and is pretty noticeable if you try to keep your things nice. If you don’t mind scratches, then you probably won’t Care to much As The paint hasn’t chipped so far and looks almost new after a few months of hard core use! EASY TO USE REVIEW: So for it is pretty easy to use and fun to use as well. I am using it with iPhone however so there are a number of things that I can not do. You can learn the watch pretty quickly and is self explanatory! If you have an iPhone I would recommend you get an Apple Watch as you can utilize more features like the find my iPhone which I really miss!! However if you are looking to get out of the Apple realm this is the way to go!! I enjoy the s3 far more then my Apple Watch, it looks great, feels great, and is fricking awesome!! Miss some features of the Apple Watch but the s3 is far superior and I do not regret switching to this bad boy! Hope this helps!! I really love technology and devices. I purchased this refurbished Samsung Gear S3 Frontier Smart Watch because I am not afraid of refurbished devices as I purchase them quite a bit for less than the usual and customary price. I was very excited to get my watch but after having it a day or two I realized the battery life really sucks. The watch is bulky the way that like and it is also very sturdy. The bevel interface is a very nice feature making it very easy to access the apps. The apps are plentiful and you have S Health, step tracker, heart rate monitor, Samsung Pay, Bixby, you can text people back from the watch and of course answer your calls. You can do so much more. Again this is a great time piece. The only issue I have is the battery life. I reached out to Amazon to reach out to the seller on my behalf to see if the battery could be replaced. Even at this point the Seller have not contacted me back. So I know going forward I would not purchase from this seller again. The Samsung Gear S3 Frontier This is my update as of 4/13/2024, my Smart watch has completely died. It will not come on as it has been on the charger for 4-6 hrs. As time went on the watch would die half way through the day. Again the seller never reached out after my initial concern. I just wanted him to replace the battery. Do not order from the seller as he does not stand by his refurbished product.

A great deal for one of the best smartwatches on the market - even after 3 years from its release. Tizen is a slick OS and even though the store has limited app variety, there's still something for everyone to track workouts, change watch faces, navigate maps, keep appointments, and more. This watch is refurbished and I was leery about that at first. The watch did arrive with a somewhat dirty rubber wristband, and the charger was generic, but for half the price of new, I assumed these would be a compromise for the discount. The watch itself is fine. Clean with no scratches. Battery life is actually close to new, lasting a full day with apps set to minimal power-saving and average use. I've gotten 2 days out of it without continuous heart rate monitoring and screen off between uses. This is a bargain and has held up well for its purpose. I wouldn't give one as a gift (box presentation isn't pretty) but it's fine for personal use. I've wanted this particular watch for a long time and this was an affordable price for me. I'd recommend this seller if you're in the market as well. Watch shipped and delivered ahead of schedule and has been 100% reliable for over 2 months now. Amazon is alleged to support their renewed products for 90 days as well, so I'll be waiting to see what happens on day 91. So far, so good. 👍

I've been in the market for a smartwatch for a while. I am very picky about the design and functionality. I love the look of the Samsung gear s3, just something about being able to spin the bezel reminds me about some of the watches I had when I was younger. So I was super stoked to find one one here on Amazon in the renewed section. Unfortunately this is an older model and was in acceptable condition but a steal at just 36.00. I noticed that the battery had a hard time keeping a charge and it would die within a few hours. Looking for accessories I found this replacement battery. It was pretty cheap and came with the tools to change it. It was not too difficult and took about 20 minutes start to finish to change. The hardest part for me was getting the back off without damaging the wires. Then putting it back together correctly. I would recommend taking some pictures before and during the process just to make it easier putting it back together. There is nothing solder it all just snapped back together easily. Put it on the charger and now it works better then ever and being 520ma the battery last almost twice as long. The only additional tools I use was a flat head screwdriver to gently pry the back off and a magnifying glass to be able to see the wire connections better. So now I'm into my watch for about 50bucks and absolutely love it. The only thing that I wish it would do is monitor my blood pressure but unfortunately living in the US the FDA regulates the ability and function of that here in the US, even on the newer versions of galaxy watches. Hope this helps if anyone is stuck on the fence of whether or not to buy an older smart watch.

I am honestly blown away by how amazing this watch is. I got a black metal band to go with mine, and it looks incredibly professional. The watch has become such that I honestly don't remember how I got around without it. The ease of knowing who is calling or texting you without having to pull your phone out of your pocket every 5 seconds at work alone is worth it. It is also incredibly useful when listening to music as you can control your favorite music listening mobile app from your watch. The battery life on this watch is ridiculous. I use it ALL day, and at the end of the day it tells me I have another day and some hours left of battery life. This watch has already received its final update, but it feels so polished that I don't think it needs another one. I prefer this watch over the galaxy watch in terms of looks, it looks both like a hiker's dream watch and a buisnessman's timepiece at the same time. I also can't say enough how impressed I am with Amazon's Renewed service. The watch looks brand new. I highly recommend this amazing smartwatch.

1)Watch is very nice. 2)Watch band not so nice, luckily I had two other smart watch failures, and swapped a band from one of them. 3) A quick start guide would be nice inclusion. 4)Apparently FedEx is not meeting their part of the Two Day Shipping deal the provider has with FedEx. I ordered the watch on Thursday after noon, arrival was scheduled for Saturday. Saturday gets here shipping status says "out for delivery" about noon, 6/22 status says "Delivery attempted but business closed. Irving TX US. My address is not a business, nor is it in Irving, TX. I called FedEx 6/23 in the morning and was told by the Customer Service Rep "FedEx does not deliver on Saturday my package would be delivered 6/24 by 5PM". it was delivered. The label on the package in bold type said FedEx Saturday Delivery. Bottom line here is if this vender is paying FedEx extra for "Saturday Delivery" they are being scammed by FedEx. BEWARE FedEx SATURDAY DELIVERY!

It's a great watch and a great addition to your Android Phone (Bluetooth) for sure but if you were thinking of having this as a stand alone phone you're out of luck (at least in the South East USA). I called Verizon with IMEI number etc. in hand and they informed me they no longer activate these watches as stand alone phones. This was in 2019. I have used the watch as an attachment to my Android Phone with no issues ever and it has been great. I can't fault the watch on much. I still have it and use it plenty, but it could have been soooo much better. Pros: Changeable digital faces (some built in & some avail through app purchase on phone), lightweight and it can take a hit, it survives showers, yardwork and running sweat without issue. I was able to use it for about 2 days before charging it and the blue tooth works well with wireless ear plugs. The health apps are great (sleeping etc). It has games... Cons: No Verizon support for stand alone mode (they have a different watch for that now), having to have your watch &phone within Bluetooth range is naturally annoying as this could have been a stand alone phone. Texting is not something you will want to be doing with this, event the voice typing feat. is pretty bad at recognizing what I was saying 90% of the time (they should get with Google on this). No Nike+ Running App support was a huge let down. All in all its a very useful little addition but not what I was personally looking for as a cost-effective standalone to break away from the mini-brick in my pocket.

Refurbished unit. Works great. I broke my original so wanted to replace but didn't want to buy one of the new really expensive ones. This one does everything I need. Do understand you can't do NFC pay with this version as that isn't supported anymore. Fine by me as I don't want to pay with my watch.
