Honestly an amazing product, the bottle is quite small but if you use sparingly (which you should) it will last a long time! The smell is fresh, very nice and I am thinking about getting the beard oil of this to compliment it too. I haven't used many beard shampoos (only about 3 including this one) but this is by far the best I have used, if you're looking for a nice smell and softer beard this is perfect. My beard is very thick and coarse and drys up very quickly... But using this it has helped me a lot and seems to keep my beard fresher for longer. To add the cherry on the cake for this product the company actually messaged me asking if I was happy with the product and if I had any questions or something was wrong they were happy to help... Outstanding service is just a great bonus on top of a brilliant product. Could not recommend enough, easily 5 stars!

Having used a few different lotions and potions since becoming a fully fledged beardsman, Seven Potions has been a name on my radar for some time. I thought I'd give it a try and...well...I was quietly surprised. The product itself is amazing (have been using for a few weeks now) and even with a fuller beard and a few days worth of oils and balms in play, you only need a small amount of product to really get a decent lather that gets going instantly. Post wash too, my beard feels soft and nourished (unlike other brands I've tried that feel like they are stripping away essential oils). There is a but coming...the woodland harmony fragrance? There's not that much harmony in this woodland. Personal preference but the scent is a little away from harmonious. Can't quite put my finger on it, maybe a little too...artificial? That being said, it doesn't linger and is then masked by whatever the next product in my beard grooming regime is (usually oil). Will give the Citrus version a try next but all in all, a worthwhile, VFM product that does a great job of cleaning, but leave the scent to other products.

This is a superb product. The quality really shines with its beautiful fragrance and the fact that it gets the job done with very little. I had previously avoided this brand because of reviews saying it doesn't lather well enough and so you'll burn through it very quickly. This could not be more wrong. I personally have found that a little goes a long way and my beard is well over a year old reaching nearly 8.5-9 inches on the longest hairs and generally dense growth all round and I get plenty of suds from a drop that only takes up less than a quarter of the palm of my hand. I have noticed my beard hair has gotten smoother and more resilient within mere days of using this. This is going to be a mainstay in my routine for the foreseeable future.

In my quest to rid my bathroom of plastic and other nasties, I was pleased to see this uses a biodegradeable container, so big plus there, and the fact that the ingredients seem not to have any SLS or parabens in them is great, too. I have used other products from the same company and been very pleased. This lathers-up and washes my large beard very well... so why only 2.5 stars? Well I'm not sure if it was just my bottle but this really doesn't smell very good, in fact it smells bad! To me (and my wife) it smells of burned rubber - nothing foresty or woodlandy whatsoever. I assumed there must be something amiss so, after a skin-test (just to make sure there was nothing in it that was dangerous) I used it to see how it was. As I say, it washes well but the scent doesn't improve. Thankfully it doesn't really linger in the beard, and once I've got oil in it it's not detectable. I contacted the company who said that they had no other reports of issues with the batch and offered to replace if I posted it back, but that would have cost me another fiver, and I wasn't prepared to spend out any more, which brings me to the other reason it looses stars... the price. I appreciate that the ingredients are not cheap, and the packaging must add a fait bit to the cost, but this will only do a few washes - 100ml is less than 6 tablespoons! I would far rather buy from a smaller, UK company with the ethos of Seven Potions, and I expect to pay more, but I can get a vegan-friendly, paraben-free beard wash from a big, well-respected cosmetics company for a quarter of the price - and it washes as well and smells great. Problem is, it contains SLS. The search continues!

Actually works. Beard was shedding white dust like a bathroom counter in a nightclub. Used this stuff a few times and it’s cleared up no end. Barely anything coming out of it now and my beard is more soft and shiny than an Afghan hound’s coat in the sun. The smell reminds me of a peaty forest on a warm day after a rainfall, not miles from a badgers den, but not too close either. Badger adjacent, close enough you know he’s there, and can give you a nasty nip, but not close enough you can smell his breakfast. All in all, bloody good stuff

My first beard after 55 years on this planet! Wasn't aware of the fact that you can't just 'let it grow'...god no! This facial hair journey involves all manner of potions and rituals that far outstrip the demands of shaving and this was one of my first considered purchases in this respect. Its definitely helped with the dreaded beard itch and the citrus scent right under my nose every morning is delightful. Really soft shampoo and you only need a very small amount for it to be effective. Its an experience worth getting in the shower for and something I look forward to every day. Rule Britannia!

i bought a bottle of this last year it was 250 ml , I know i should have realised before i bought it again but when this one arrived i was stunned to see the size of the bottle was 100 ml, that makes it very very expensive, when making the purchase this time around i clicked on the link in my previous order list and on that list it was a 250 ml bottle i never noticed that when clicking on that link that the page it takes you to is now for a 100 ml bottle i just made the purchase assuming i would be getting the same as i had in the past, its a shame they have done this as the product is a good product but at the price they are charging for 100 ml makes it very expensive

I have tried a dozen or more beard washes, looking for the best. This is it, hands down. Great smell for a man. Good lather, works into beard nicely. Only a small amount needed, even for my long beard. I use nickel sized dollop. No need for conditioner. Rinses off completely. Leaves beard soft, not dry.

Pulisce e lascia una piacevole e fresca profumazione sulla barba. Basta usarne poco e massaggiare delicatamente per poi risciacquare. In combinazione all'olio da barba e la spazzola ho, per il momento, risolto il fastidioso problema della forfora. Mi sento di consigliarlo, sembra un buon prodotto.
