Does it work for people with short neck? In adult size violin

The violin is an awkward machine because it is played in an awkward position. I've been back and fourth for years on the use or nonuse of a shoulder rest. Even learning to play cello did not help me. Here is my conclusion. No violin position is perfect. I can see ultimately, it is a mental compromise, and involves a determination to play no matter what. Now to answer your question. The Fiddleman is inexpensive. That is good. It can be adjusted vertically and horizontally. It looks great and is compact. That is also good. I think it will work with someone that has a long neck or short neck. I have a short neck. It is business as usual as far as shoulder rest are concerned.
