Review: An Excellent Managed Switch - I brought this switch to handle four Ubiquiti cameras (24v). It works great! The management dashboard is nice and pretty well laid out. I thought the management RJ45 port was unnecessary. Maybe it was an attempt to be more secure. The one thing I noticed was odd, was that the login credentials only allow the username to be changed. The password stays as default. The performance is excellent and I think the status page give you a lot of useful performance information. This switch is not plug & play, must be at a novice level. I had no problems setting it up.

**Q: This listing claims the 5xp can handle both 24 and 48v poe however on the ubnt website model comparison it states that only the 8 and 16xp do**
A: On mobile so didn't check 5XP but directly from Ubnt 8XP manual:

POE LED: off, no POE; green, 24V; amber 48V

I brought this switch to handle four Ubiquiti cameras (24v). It works great! The management dashboard is nice and pretty well laid out. I thought the management RJ45 port was unnecessary. Maybe it was an attempt to be more secure. The one thing I noticed was odd, was that the login credentials only allow the username to be changed. The password stays as default. The performance is excellent and I think the status page give you a lot of useful performance information. This switch is not plug & play, must be at a novice level. I had no problems setting it up.
