I had purchased this product a couple of months ago when allergy season was in full swing but after receiving it I realized it was more for serious sinus issues than just allergies so I didn't take it. After investigating the reviews on here further I realized the product had changed strength somewhere along the line and yes, it wasn't intended for allergies. So I kept it and didn't use it. Then September came and I got hit by something out of the blue that resembled the flu. High fever, headache, body aches and some slight sinus congestion. The fever left after 24 hours but I felt drained and still felt lousy a week to two later with terrible sinus pressure and headaches. I had a light bulb moment....what I was experiencing resembled what I'd had in the past many years ago that required sinus surgery....a bad sinus infection. I have learned a lot since surgery 10 years ago and knew I didn't want to go down the ENT and antibiotic path. I also can't take many sinus OTC items due to high blood pressure and a sensitivity to the ingredients in some of those mucus thinning products. I was truly miserable and desperate for some natural relief. I grabbed this out of "storage" and started at 3 tablets a day as it recommends. About 3 days later I noticed when I leaned over to grab something (unfortunately during cooking) my ordinarily stuffy nose was running and I couldn't control it. This happened several more times while leaning over to tie my shoes or pick something up. I'd also wake up with the need to blow my nose and actually have stuff to blow out instead of it running thickly down the back of my throat. I realized that the Sinupret was doing it's job and breaking down this thick mucus that was causing me such misery. I can now say, without having even finished the whole box, that this stuff works. It cleared up my infection without my having to even consider antibiotics. I highly recommend it to thin out thick mucus.

I discovered this amazing product by accident at Waldbaums. Bought it only because it claimed to be natural and had been slashed in price. I'm so glad I did because it is nothing short of a wonder product. Recommended dose is a tablet 3x a day for 7 days. I haven't needed to take it for that long a period because it works so well. It kept me from going to the doctor for Flonase and antibiotics twice now. It worked so well I told all my friends and coworkers about it who also report sucess with it. Even recommended it to my local pharmacist. I don't use it for allergies, as another reviewer recommends, but only when suffering from what I recognized from previous diagnoses as "acute rhinitis"--i.e., total sinus blockage/congestion. What usually took days, has taken minutes. Within 15-20 minutes I could feel a decrease in sinus pressure and a significant change in freeing up of the nasal passages allowing more normal breathing. Please note: This does not bring about temporary symptom relief, as you would get with a regular nasal decongestant, but actual progressive CURE! Ability to breathe improved for me almost completely by the following day. I use it together with a saline nasal mist spray, spraying 2x in each nostril about 1x an hour to irrigate and clean the passages. Sinupret is not easy to find in local supermarkets, or health food stores at least by me. I was lucky to find it at one VitaminShoppe after calling several places when I needed it fast. Otherwise, Amazon is the next best choice. With the effectiveness of this product and its safety I don't see how it isn't everywhere readily available. If you suffer from sinus blockage do not pass this up. At the very least it is worth a try. This is one product I will always keep on hand in my medicine cabinet!

I started taking this yesterday afternoon, so I'm only on my 3rd pill so far. I've suffered with chronic congestion, headaches, sinus pain, sleepless nights, anxiety due to not being able to get enough air through my nose. For 9 years I've made decongestants and steroids my best friends trying to get through the day. Misery all around and it affected my work and my quality of life- I'm sure a lot of chronic sufferers can relate. My sister lives in Europe and I was talking to her a couple of weeks ago and she was suffering from a cold. I happened accidentally to ask her what she was taking and she said Sinupret. I looked it up here right away and seeing all the positive reviews, figured what do I have to lose. I'm glad I did. My sinuses are open!!! hard to believe, but I can actually get air in and out. I've had quite a bit of drainage This is will thin out mucus and clear out sinuses so they can heal. it also reduces inflammation. I actually decided to take a chance and stop my flonase and astelin sprays for a week, to give Sinupret a chance and see how I feel. Just wanted to share with others, if you've tried anything else and feel hopeless, this may help as I'm seeing some good results already. I'll report back after 7 days. UPDATE: this really works and have bought it several times since. The moment I start feeling like a sinus infection may be coming on, I start taking it and I immediately feel better! So glad I can get this on amazon.

Finally relief! These are great for passages and drip. I have had zero breathing restrictions since starting. Only negative is that I can only take For two weeks. Although after finishing a small pack I did not have any significant sinus pain/pressure relief (which is really where I need some help). I did not take with any antibiotics either. They do work! So hoping a few more days will begin to help me with my pain/pressure issues.

One of the best herbal cold remedies ever. Citing years of experience with herbs and herbal remedies, I declare that this one is very well prepared indeed. For the first 1-2 days, it greatly eases the head cold symptoms (no stuffy nose for example, and you can sleep at night!), After 36-48 hours or so, it really starts working on clearing your sinuses, you will blow your nose all the time and feel the increasing relief by the hours. You will still feel that you are having a cold but you will remain able to breathe through your nose and it does make a huge difference. Be mindful of the allergy advice on the package. This is a strong mix of concentrated herbs pressed into tablets. (Sorrel, European elder, Cowslip, European vervain, Gentian). Not recommended for children, pregnant or lactating women, or those who are planning to become pregnant. If you are allergic to any of the herbal ingedients, it will make your symptoms worse. Same goes if you are sensitive to a herb that is closely related to any of the ingredients: for example, if you are allergic to dock weed, do not take sorrel either. It will not cure your cold but will shorten it significantly.

Please research on it, prior to taking. It caused excessive nose bleeding for my husband. He had to stop taking it. I used to take it many years back and it helped me quickly. It's a great product, just didn't work for my husband.

Sinupret is a good example that our forebears were not stupid. Today it is antibiotics for any sinus infection. Your immune system is based in your guts. So the antibiotic may cure the sinus infection and clean out your gut at the same time of those beneficial bacteria. That is not good. Sinupret works just as good without the back side effects of antibiotics. It is herbs. And herbal remedies are discovered by trial and error over the centuries. I understand in some major studies in controlled labs (IN England) they came to the same conclusion that Sinupret was just as effective as antibiotics for a sinus infection. German doctors prescribe this OTC as a cure millions of times. Of course the American Medical system would not recommend such a cure as all the money is in the Rx's they write. Have Sinus problems? Keep Sinupret on hand. The moment you blow your nose and it is greenish yellow, start taking the Sinupret. My trips to the MD for sinus infections have gone from over a dozen a year to virtually none.

While standard decongestant products seem to clear nasal passages pretty well, they don't do much for clearing the sinuses - and they can keep you awake or give you the jitters. But if I take Sinupret, there is an antihistamine effect, in that allergens don't get me sneezing, my nasal passages clear, and gradually, the accumulated mucus in the sinuses goes away. I don't detect a single side effect. Sinupret seems to operate like a nutrient rather than a medicine, in that the best effects develop over day or two, rather than a quick yanking down of a specific symptom followed by a rebound, as in other OTC products or even prescription drugs. To me that means that some sort of healing process is taking place, rather than just a palliation of symptoms, and I like that. It's not cheap, but it's pretty good stuff.
