MY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS BELT LUMINOX
Dear friends, writing to tell them about my bad experience regarding this strap Luminox watches. Actually I bought this belt twice and my experience was very bad. The material is damaged rapidly and its lifespan is very short compared to the cost of the belt and its quality. The first belt is damaged bought holding bands over the other belt which passes through the buckle. On the other strap which recently bought, I kept in their original packaging and just placed less than a week at the clock, but my surprise was that in the gum base that holds the pin buckle stainless steel, he broke and almost causes the loss of my watch. This despite the fact that the rubber belt is in perfect condition, flexible, etc, and he had kept in their original packaging and in a dry, cool place. But I think that the problem with these belts is due to faults with quality control.I do not recommend this belt to people seeking a belt of good quality and durable. I think a better option, Nylon strap made by Luminox, which if you've given me good results.Actually I will not buy more such straps to my watch Luminox.Best regards.

Authentic Band
Bought my Luminox from an authorized dealer 3 years ago. Band finally broke off near the buckle (seems to be a common theme.) There are some reviews that question the authenticity of the band and some say it’s generic. I did have my doubts but I purchased it anyway. Upon its arrival, I can tell you I compared my replacement band with my original luminox band.. The feel, fit and finish are exactly the same. The band is soft and flexible like the original and there is no difference that I can tell.. Everything matches 100%. Im confident this band is legit and authentic.

Seems to be a legit lumiox band, but who knows? It works!
Just had to replace the band on my Luminox 3050/3950 watch. The old band broke after 5 years roughly right near the buckle. The material this new band is made of seems to be a bit different from my original band, but maybe that could be because it's newer looking? Hard to say if it's legit or authentic for sure. Seems to be a bit overpriced for a bit of rubber or whatever it's made of.I have a Nato style watch strap I was using on my Luminox watch for a bit which worked pretty good and looked alright I thought to.But as long as this new band holds up for several years that's good enough for me.

Not all it should be
When you buy a Luminox watch you are paying a premium for the name, the quality, and the service. I realize there are watches of higher and lower quality, but a certain brand name carries certain expectations that exceed those of inferior brands. In this case of this band, I think Luminox is failing. This is my third band. I am sure some durability might be lost due to wearability, but surely a premium band can be designed to last. I’ve read that off brand replacements are at least as durable at half the price. The Luminox band is not even supplied with the pins. They are making me rethink the value of the Luminox brand.

Even better
It is perfect. Perfect fit, identical with the one that came with the watch. It is a little bit more rigid wich is even better, hopefully this one will last more than the original, wich is a s**t that did't last even a year.Very happy with this one ... lets see how long does it last in real tough life conditions. I'm wearing it in surf sessions like twice a week average.

Factory replacement, but expensive.
I seem to need one of these every couple years. Luminous makes great watches and metal bands, but their rubber bands could be more durable. Unfortunately I have not yet found an aftermarket band that looks as good with the watch.

Definitely NOT original Luminox band..but who cares?
Original Luminox on left, replacement band on right in photo. I have 2 Luminox's. When the 1st broke I ordered this replacement. This replacement band has already outlasted the original. Now the 2 original band has broken. I have no qualms about ordering this replacement band again. It seems to be made of a HARDER rubber than the original equipment. Hey... bands will break and there is nothing wrong with buying a generic band...which this is.Tip: Save and use original pins. The pins that come with replacement band NOT long enough. It will fall off.

Cheaply made and inferior product
I've had this watch for two years and have now been through two of these rubber/neoprene bands. I do not wear it overly tight, and am not hard on the watch (take it off before any activity which might snag it or cause potential damage like working on cars, heavy field work, contact athletics, etc). Woke up this morning and my watch was on the floor...the clasp had pulled through the rubber holders into which it is secured to the band. Apparently I slept too hard for the band? Original band spontaneously broke where pins on watch body pulled through right the rubber. This is a cheaply-made and inferior product. I will not spend money replacing this again with the same thing. I'm going with the nylon this time, even though it is not what I want. I would ditch the whole thing, but I love the watch, and don't want to shelve a mid-priced and attractive timepiece. I have an Oris watch with a rubber strap which has been rock-solid for ten years. You get what you pay for? Shame on you, Luminox. It's a great revenue center...agreed. An extra $3040 per year is a great continuation after the original purchase. But as much as I love my Luminox blackout, I will not buy another watch from this company again.
