Office Depot Brand Mechanical Pencils, Soft-Grip, 0.7 mm, Assorted Barrel Colors, Pack of 12

I bought these to use at work. They last about a week to a week and half and then they start falling apart. I gave a 3 star rating rather than a 1 because they were cheap and I didn't expect them to be on par with or last as long as more expensive mechanical pencils. I bought cheap ones because I tend to misplace them after a short while. I had just hoped that they would last longer than 7 to 10 days. As far as ease of use I like them. I just wish they were a bit more durable and lasted longer.

Beautiful pencils, but watch for the metal tip to fall out when writing. The tip cannot be fixed back in the pencil thus making it useless.

pencils work great and the quantity is nice so you can lose them. gotta have those grips. they feel a little cheap like other pencils i've bought in this quantity; but unlike the other pencils, i haven't had any of these break down on me yet. wohoo!

Fantastic pencils my students love them.

I purchased a six-pack of these pencils at a local store. Pencil is ok, but every time I remove the plastic end to use the eraser it pulls the eraser out too and the lead falls out. I tried leaving the plastic end off, but that is needed to advance the lead. Lousy design...
