Mirrorless interchangeable cameras have a far shorter battery life than DSLRs so it makes sense to purchase an additional battery for all but the shortest photographic expeditions. One spare battery is good, two are even better and this charger is the best of all by having a 3rd slot to charge the original Sony battery.It is amazing value for money. An original Sony NP-FW50 battery is £36.99 (RRP £66) whilst the Sony BC-TRW Travel charger costs £39.99 (RRP £42) and is only capable of charging one battery at a time! At this price, it is a no-brainer.I used the charger when I took my Sony A6400 on holiday recently. The charger worked reliably via the USB-A sockets on my worldwide travel adapter which has a 2A output. However, it also works with a standard 1A output from an iPhone mains adapter.The batteries seemed to be of similar build quality to the Sony original and I could not tell any difference in terms of the number of shots per battery. I did find that I often needed to change to my second battery halfway through a busy day, which was far more convenient than having to plug a charging lead into my camera. It was so easy just putting the 3 batteries on charge each evening so that I was fully prepared for the next day with a minimum of fuss and effort.Highly recommended: this is by far the best 3rd party camera battery charger I have purchased.

This is a game changer. I had bought a separate charger for my camera and would usually charge two batteries throughout the night trying to wake up to put in other empty ones. If anyone owns a Sony A7 series, they know, that the camera doesn't come with an external charger and the battery doesn't last very long. With this I can charge 3 batteries while I sleep and choose between USB 2 or or USB C charging (which other batteries did not have). And I can safely leave this out at night in a hostel without going through the hassle of leaving my camera to charge in the open. Definitely a great buy!

Simple USB connection means you can charge from a power bank, laptop or a USB charger etc.Supplied batteries are strong, seem to perform well enough (tho unlikely to have the life of the sony ones).It's structurally solid, feels well made, and the screen is really useful to see battery progress.

I got this on sale for £16 and i honestly only thought i was getting 1 battery with it but 2 batteries and it comes with a triple charger! the LED screen is great for seeing what batteries are charged even when its not connected to the mains!!i hope they do this product for the A73 batteries as i will buy also.

Product is just what i wanted, fed up of charging batter through my camera and using a single charger ..This is a brilliant charger and does what i need it to do :)Happy charging , happy customer.

Charges the batteries far quicker the in the camera with a nice handy visual display showing how far the batteries have charged. In camera these batteries last at least as long as the original official battery if not longer.

I have used the product to charge the batteries but as yet I have not used them so am unable to comment on battery life.

This is a life saver - great way to charge multiple batteries at one time. I use it all the time!
