Small Town Baltimore: An Album of Memories

My 75 year old Mom was given this for Christmas and she and I REALLY enjoyed reliving her youth through the stories in the book!! There were even a few things that SHE didn't know! I gave this to her with the book on Hutzler's- A store that I miss to this day, and we enjoyed both books. As neither of us live there any more, it was all the more bitter-sweet to read about our 'home'.

This was a Christmas gift for my husband. Packaging was great and the book is so interesting with great pictures for you Hutzler's era and it has wonderful stories. I sat and read it before I wrapped it for my husband. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was it was a little musty smelling (used book maybe a smoker) but other than that it was in good shape.

I bought this for my dad and he loved it! It looks like such a great collection of stories and pictures, I look forward to reading it myself, if he every puts it down :D

An excellent chronicalling of the Baltimore of my youth. Outstanding...Baltimore in pictures and and memories.

My husband and I both grew up in the 40's and early 50's in Baltimore City. He in Irvington and I in Walbrook. We both found this book entertaining and informative. And we had fun reminiscing! If you want to get re-acquainted with your hometown, I would highly recommend this book.

Decent book, but I felt I ovepaid.

I expected a more expanded time period history of Baltimore from at least the mid 1800's to date. However it is still a fairly good read.

Excellent book on Old Baltimore, probably the best I've seen.
