Winter Dog Coat 100% Waterproof Thicken Dog Jacket for Lab Pitbull Doberman Standard Poodle,German Sheperd Large Bread Dog(Red,2XL)

Bought for my dog who has autoimmune condition and needs extra protection from cold. The outer fabric is very water resistant and the reflective strips are bright but not overbearingly so. The Velcro is very sturdy but easy to take on and off. I keep the neck one attached, and just adjust the underbelly strap, it stays on my dog really well. She tolerates this jacket much better than any other style we’ve tried, and keeps her belly cleaner from road sand/salt/mud because it covers so much of her belly. Overall, great jacket, very reasonable price, and has held up to daily use for several months and still looks relatively new.

We have 2 Weimaraners and it is difficult to find them anything that fits properly and works well for our unpredictable Oregon winters (generally cold and rainy but snowy on occasion as well) without paying an absolute fortune. These jackets absolutely fit the bill! The sizing was great, our Weims are kept warm and dry, and we didn't have to spend 3-4 times as much for the locally sourced products. I love supporting small business owners (I'm one myself), but there are times when I feel that I'm being taken advantage of by doing so. Anyway, these jackets are high quality and have passed the durability test of our 2 young, active dogs during this bizarre winter weather season we've had. We're very pleased with this purchase! I only wished they came in more colors (for girl dogs!).

3.5 stars, maybe. I like this coat very much but even after measuring our dog carefully and ordering by the chart, it's way too long underneath for a male dog. Our dog was reluctant to pee in it, but then finally went ahead and peed on the coat. I thought I could take a big tuck in it in the middle, but that would interfere with the velcro underneath. My other criticism is one others have noted, which is that it's really hard to undo the velcro at the neck. I thought other reviewers must be weaklings, but no kidding, it's a STRUGGLE. The velcro in that area needs to be cut down by 2/3rds. Also, the collar/neck needs to be longer. It barely fit our not-fat, smaller-sized Lab. The too-long length makes the coat unworkable for our dog, but it's very nicely constructed and the right light weight for a North Carolina winter or for just rain.

This is a light weight waterproof jacket and I was pleasantly surprised to find id has a nice inner fleece lining. I did not need a warm coat, just really to keep my dog dry in the rain and it is perfect for that. He deffinitely prefers it being wrapped around from the back, rather than having to put his legs in through holes and zipped from the top. The sizing is good and it covers almost all the way to the tail so it keeps him quite dry in the rain. The fabric is indeed waterproof and the color is a nice dark blue and grey. Overall a great buy

I have these coats for my 45lb pit mix and 90lb deep chested rottie mix. I LOVE them. They are well made, waterproof, easy & quick to put on, and keep the pups warm. I only wish they made these for smaller dogs too!

Great dog coat. Fantastic Velcro closures. No sleeves to put on dogs arms which is actually too hard to do most time. Just wraps around neck and chest. Great material, made well. Will be buying another one.

I don’t have a comparison to other jackets but I know what I like and need for my dog. This jacket covers all the basis. It’s lined with cozy fleece, made out a durable waterproof fabric with glow in the dark piping, has a comfortable neck and underbelly Velcro closing and is soooo easy to put on the pup.Someone posed a concern about being afraid the underbelly piece will be pied (in males) on due to its length. I believe this could be an issue. Though fortunately jackets like this wash well and easily. I’m not overly concerned.Unfortunately, I’ll have to exchange mine for a size larger. Please refer to a photo. And keep in mind my belgian mal is approx 52 lbs. neck 20”, chest 31”, length 25. I purchased XL 4. But then received answered from other customers recommending sizing up (xl 5). Was too late. Now looking at the dog in his jacket, I wish it was longer and covered side of his butt/legs a bit more and also extended more on the top of the neck. Every time he bends head down the jacket becomes even shorten in the back. Seems it won’t protect form elements as well as I would wish, hence the exchange.Love the read too.Update 12/21/20It’s been 2 (if I’m not mistaken) years since purchase. Our pupp wears his jacket during nor’easter winters and cold rainy days.We ended up keeping smaller size (please refer to size/measurements above).Unfortunately, the Velcro part got so worn out due to excess hairs in it, that we are no longer able to use it.

Our standard poodle looks great and has kept warm during the cold weather. Barbara

Totally wrong shape. Chest too large and velcro not thought through.Length too short, even after measuring as required.Silly elastic loops at the back rubbed into my dogs skin.

ordered a 5xl and was given a 3 xl apparent email to supplier said this is an Asian sizing...
