Chippendale Planter

I have been wanting to purchase these planters for years and finally broke down and ordered them. A little (very little) challenging to put together but, a rubber mallet did the trick. They are a very clean, bright white and look great flanking our front door. We even received a compliment from the neighbors. Quick shipping. Good price. Attractive product. Easy to clean. Glad I finally bought them.Update...We have used these planters for 3 summers...they bake in the hot afternoon sun on our front stoop. They still look great, are easy to clean with a garden hose and very attractive. Well worth the $$$.

I'm not sure about some of the negative reviews on these but my two planters arrived and were absolutely exactly as expected. They snap together, needed a little bit of persistence but it was not hard. There are no directions, but a numbered picture was sufficient. They are plastic but seem pretty sturdy and durable so I'm looking forward to them lasting a long time. My 12 inch flower pots set down inside them perfectly and they are a very classy addition to the front of my garage.

These do not have the heft and high-end look of the planters that cost twice as much. However, they are well made and look just fine on the steps of our farmhouse. We have had ours (four of them) for over five years now and they still are in excellent condition. They do pick up mildew by the end of a season but a brushing with bleach and an hour in the sun each spring has them looking as good as new.

I had thought that it was made from wood. I do not actually remember what the description was so it is most likely my fault. Anyway, it arrived with the top broken. I contacted the seller who said another would be sent to replace the broken top. It took about three weeks for them to actually send it.

The two Chippendale planters I ordered are a great buy. They are sturdy, snapped together well and have ample room for very large potted begonias. Of particular interest is the fact that the bottom is not solid; it is in a wide cross T pattern that holds the pot securely and allows excess water to run off rather than stay in the bottom of the planter and cause root rot to the plants. Highly recommend.

The Chippendale Planters (2) we purchased are perfect for the front of our condo! We could not find white planters anywhere, so . . . of course, we checked Amazon and found these! We are the envy of our neighbors and they look great! Light, easy to snap together, just spray off to clean them, and we just plopped our container of flowers inside and it is beautiful!!

I love the look of this planter but had a terrible time getting it put together. Had no problem until I got to the last side it will look great when I get the last side put on it. Needs better instructions.

This product arrived with 6 pieces to fit together. It was fairly easy to assemble and voila! ready to use with no tools required. It is just as it looks in the picture and a good value.
