It’s works fairly well and I am happy to have it. It does not cut as well as hand pruner but that’s a function of the mechanics of the extended length. I have found gripper function works ok with some thicknesses of material but smaller , thinner branches do not grasp as well .

The 24-inch reach of this pruner lets you prune roses without getting stuck. You can prune things to the ground without having to kneel. You can prune things overhead without needing a ladder. And after you make the cut, it holds the branch while you dispose of it. Great design.

I got this to cut the messy flowers out of Phoenix Palms. This is a very painful and bloody exercise normally due to the 4 inch needle sharp thorns. It is almost blood free with this pruner. I can reach in among the thorns and lop off a flower then grab it and bring it out. I removed the jaws that capture the cutting to allow me to cut a thicker stem. They go back on with a simple screw.It is powerful and sharp enough to cut through small palm fronds and small branches. Pretty much anything you could cut with a hand bypass pruner.I like it.

The Cutters work well and hold the pruned plant tips until I place them in the trash container. Cutter head rotation makes it convenient for left or right hand use. The clasp that holds the blade closed for storage is a bit awkward but does function to help hold pruned material more easily. I can deadhead about 6 feet of flowerbed while sitting on my gardening bucket.

was just what I needed. I am handicapped and it is hard for me to work in my yard to cut thing having to do it while sitting. This product allowed me to get outside and cut my flowers with no difficulties and a long enough reach. Thank you

I have several pruners but sometimes the branches I need to cut are not always easy to reach so instead of bending and stretching to get at them this tool makes it very easy to cut them off way underneath without having to stretch. Good quality pruner blades, sharp, sturdy mechanism, would recommend, would buy again.
