This levitating moon is delightful, mesmerizing, and briefly made me question my own intelligence. Yes, getting the moon to hover takes a little practice. The magnet has to be just right, and at first it feels like trying to park a car without depth perception. I saw some reviews where people said they could never get it to levitate and gave it a bad rating. Honestly, you just have to try a few times. You eventually feel it when the magnet “kicks in,” and once you get the hang of gently lowering it into place, it becomes second nature. This is not a flaw. This is how magnets work. Physics remains undefeated. Important note: if the power goes out, the moon will immediately abandon flight and slam down onto the base like it’s offended. Same thing if you slide the base while it’s hovering. Ask me how I know. Once you learn the trick, though, this stops being an issue. The lighting options are fun and easy to change with the little remote. I usually keep mine on a solid warm tone, but the color-changing option is there if you want full space wizard vibes. It looks great either way. I did briefly consider giving this four stars because of the learning curve, but that felt unfair. The product works exactly as advertised. The challenge is user-related and temporary. Also, I wish it were bigger. I knew the dimensions going in, but when it arrived, I still thought, “I would absolutely buy a larger moon.” That’s on me, not the moon. Bottom line: it levitates, it’s cool, it impresses people, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. Five stars for floating celestial drama and a reminder that patience is sometimes required when defying gravity. 🌕✨

I purchased this item almost two years ago.I really really like this thing. It sits in my bedroom on a long dresser. I turn the light on every day when it gets dark and off when I go to bed.(about 4 to 5 hours). A few weeks ago the light stopped working. It still floated and rotated but I really enjoyed it during the evening. I was surprised because LED lights usually last a very long time. I knew when I purchased it that the light could not be replaced but I had only had it for a short time as far as LED lights are concerned. It had never been dropped or fallen on the floor during power outages. I decided to contact the seller and ask if there was anything I could do to troubleshoot and possibly get the light working. If not I was going to buy another one anyway because I really wanted the light. A few days later the seller contacted me and said that they were going to just send me a new one and that it may have been damaged in shipping. I was shocked. I had it for almost two years and it still floated so it's not like I could not still use it but the seller was insistent. They asked me to send my address and as soon as they got it they would ship it and I could expect to receive it about four days later. There are a lot of businesses out there that would not even answered my email due to the amount of time since I bought it. It is just rare nowadays in my opinion. Sure enough four days later it was at my doorstep. I was and am very impressed with the entire experience all due to the extraordinary customer service. They even apologized for the inconvenience. HECK what inconvenience? I asked one question and had to send my address. That's an inconvenience?? I don't think so. I would let these people watch my kids for goodness sake! WONDERFUL product, GREAT seller. Well Done... By the way, when I was thinking about buying it initially I noticed a few reviews were terrible because they said it wouldn't float or they just could not get it to do it. At first it was a little tricky for me to get it to float. It took me several tries, but once you get the hang of it it's really very easy and it looks great. Oh yea, no one asked me to write this review.

I love this lamp! I really like mood lighting and this is so unique! I bought this for my future bedroom/game room I'm slowly buying all new furniture and decor for. I want my room to feel like the Mass Effect games and this is the perfect addition! I read reviews for different levitating lamps and people usually mentioned that it was hard to get the moon on it's axis. I got it on my second try. Took less then two minutes to figure it out. I love it and have no complaints! It shipped a lot faster then it said it would. Got here three days early! The remote works, but sometimes doesn't. There's something wrong with it, but it works again for a bit if I either wait a bit or turn off the lamp by the stand and turn it on again. It honestly doesn't matter much to me as long as it works. The moon looks better from further away then it does from closer up. I might add some shades of grey to have some shadow on the moon. Then the colors would also look awesome! Overall, it works as described. It shipped fast. Packaged well. I Love it! My cat loves it! 😆😊

The first one I ordered for my son's birthday. The rotation wasn't constant and oscillated rotation speeda as if it was out of balance, and eventually stopped after 10 minutes. I tried this many times with same results. The lights worked and the remote worked but overall it was defective. I got a replacement and it was worse. Same problem with rotation and very difficult to get it to mount on the magnetic field. I returned this one as well. After I returned the two defective units from this seller, I purchased the VGAzer version with the lighted black round base and it works perfectly. No problems and I am very happy with it. I do not recommend this one as I only had problems with it. Get the VGAzer with the round black base and save yourself trouble. The LED lights on the base can be turned off or on and all of the same light functions are on that one as well.

I ordered the VGAPgazer Moon Lamp for my grandson’s 13th birthday. He said it was the best birthday present he had ever gotten. I love that boy! I had it sent to my house to see if I, his grandmother, could set it up. I had read the reviews about difficulties setting it up. I tried setting it up and even though I had promised myself I would persevere until it worked, I almost gave up. I continued trying and suddenly it worked !! I mailed it to my grandson and immediately ordered another one for my 2nd grandson’s Christmas present. My 1st grandson called me on his birthday and asked if I would help him set it up. He had tried unsuccessfully and wanted to do it himself. His father would gladly have set it up. I opened the 2nd VGAzer I had ordered and FaceTimed my grandson and thought that as I tried to set it up as I had before, I could describe how to do it as he watched via FaceTime. Almost immediately my lamp was spinning. I showed him how to hold the moon in fingers only of both hands and point his fingers straight down as he held the moon over the center of the base. Move slowly over the center. Suddenly his moon was spinning !! He was so proud of himself and called his whole family to come and see it. Now he will take it off its spin and show his friends how to set it up !!! Remember, he’s 13. You can do it too. The 3D printed moon is itself a beautiful work of art.

This is a REALLY COOL GIFT and I fully endorse/suggest getting/giving it to someone special. My wife absolutely loved it! However, my one, but large complaint is that there is no timer. Since the way this works is magnetic transference, the globe has to be plugged in at all times (even when the light is off) for it to remain "floating" (held up by the magnet), so it cannot be combined with an auto-timer off/on plug between the moon and the wall socket (cause when the timer kills the power, the moon will immediately drop to one of the corners of the device). As such, you have to manually turn it off and on instead of coming on by itself and off by itself at designated times. We deal with it, but its kind of a let down for an other wise amazing gift. Side note: Implied above, but will state outright: there are 5 magnets, four on each corner and one in the middle. When power is lost (IE: unplugged or power-outage at house, not switched off by the touch-button on the surface), the middle magnet loses its power, and the moon will SLAM to one of the four corners (these four magnets are standard, no power needed). Good because you won't have to ever worry about an animal (such as a cat) knocking it off the counter, but literally surprising as everything ever because it's not "falling" to the corner, it's being pulled down with the thrust of Odin, and you will hear a LOUD THUD. I wish I got my wife's reaction when I showed her the first time.

Had another version of this lamp since 2017. The moon came apart and I couldn’t get it balanced again. So decided to purchase another newer one. I chose the one with a faux-wood base. Easy placement. My original was just white light. This new one has a color selection which is fun! So far, so good! Love it!

This lamp is so cool. My son loves it! Unfortunately our power went out and when that happened the levitating ball fell to the ground and broke the magnetic piece inside the ball. I messaged the manufacturer company directly and they sent me another one. Customer service was amazing! This lamp is really awesome! Will order again soon as this makes a really cool gift!

This is a great looking novelty lamp. Came well packaged and looks like good quality components and a nicely 3D printed model of the moon. Very easy to set up, just took a couple of attempts to get the balance right! Lights up very nicely with loads of colour options with brightness control via the handy little remote. Looks really nice just slowly rotating on my desk! One thing to note though, you really need to remove the moon prior to disconnecting power as the thing will just crash into the base unit with quite a bang potentially damaging it.

Durch Anstupsen lässt sich selbst die Drehrichtung kontrollieren.

I stumbled across the VGAzer Moon Lamp 3D Printing Magnetic Levitating Moon Light Lamp looking for something unique for a Christmas gift for my very good friend. We purchased a telescope a couple of months ago to see the stars and moon from our new home in the country so its pitch black at night. I thought this would be the perfect gift to capture the moon to view always and have a great conversation piece! My good friend LOVED IT when he opened it and has it displayed in our dinning are for close friends to see. I also purchased one and have it in my bedroom. The product is very well made the brightness is fantastic! It is worth the money spent and we are very pleased with it!
