This was a replacement vid do doorbell, old one wants a different make. This one was cheaper, better & well made. It works very well, and I would recommend it to anyone I have not used the motion detection.

DUE TO A MANIAC NEIGHBOUR, I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY SAFETY, UNLESS PERSON IS RIGHT NEAR THE CAMERA, THE PICTURE IS USELESS, YOU CANNOT MAKE OUT WHO A PERSON IS. IT ALMOST ALWAYS TAKES A PICTURE ONCE A PERSON HAS PASSED BY, SO I GET THE MAJORITY OF SNAPS, WITH NO ONE AT ALL IN IT. IF I HAD IT FITTED AS SOON AS I HAD IT, I WOULD HAVE RETURNED IT WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS, BUT I HAD TO SAVE THE MONEY TO HAVE IT FITTED, AFTER PAYING FOR THIS USELESS ITEM, SO I HAD PASSED THE RETURNS DATE. I CAN ONLY SAY. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND BUY THIS. I AM NOW SAVING FOR SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY WORKS

PROS: • Very good and informative manual. • Basic installation quick and easy. • The picture, while not wonderful, is sufficient to identify caller. • Using with the PIR sensor turned off works well. A flashing light shows that someone has pressed the bell while you were out, and the Auto-snap feature means you have pictures of the caller. • Ease of operation. • Although there is no choice of ring tone, it does go on long enough to get to the phone, and even if you don't you still have up to 3 photos to see who it is. CONS: • Hanging the base unit on the wall was difficult because the mains lead plug projects too much. With a bit of persuasion, it can be turned sideways. • Wiring up a 12v supply to the outside unit was difficult as there is not much room between the unit and the backplate, restricting the amount of cable between them. This made it a bit awkward wiring it up. • The PIR function is largely useless, as there is a delay between activation and the taking of a picture – I have lots of photos of my empty front garden. This function is not necessary for normal operation, and I have switched it off. • The screw fixing the outside unit to its backplate is very small and easy to drop when setting up. Luckily the screwdriver provided is magnetised, but if you do lose the screw it is an M3 x 8mm Hex Pin security screw. CONCLUSIONS: Apart from the minor cons the unit works well, and I am pleased I bought it.

It works all right, but there are a few things to be noted: It has no IR night vision, only regular white LEDs. The description says it has IR LEDs, which is not true. The image resolution is also pretty bad, only 320x240, and heavily compressed as well. The connection seems to be working fine though, which is very important, and the commmunication feature works well too. The motion sensor is not the quickest, it takes a few seconds for it to turn on and start transmitting the video signal after detecting movement.

I bought a doorbell that needs WiFi and a smart phone working together, which is not very good for me. It causes too much hassles and takes too long to connect you to the doorbell. So, I throw it away. Since I bought this iCreation wireless video doorbell, all the issues of my previous doorbell have been resolved. The installation is easy, the sound and picture qualities are good. You can talk with the visitor remotely. Very happy that I have bought this product and highly recommend it.

This item worked ok for 3 days then the video stopped working.

I think this is a very good product and value for money, picture quality is very good and sound quality is very good. I like the snap shot it takes up to 50 pictures. You can connect the outdoor unit to a power supply with is great.

As soon as I opened the box i had a suspicion that this had been sold to someone else and they had returned it. It was not packed as one would expect for a new product. the packaging was mainly cardboard but had some odd pieces of bubble wrap for good measure. However I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately the performance fell way below par. In addition i could not find the packet of screws and plugs. The monitor battery was still fitted inside and the date and time had already been set. This confirmed my suspicion that it had been sold to another customer. I had no alternative but to return it
