The evolution story of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass character – Venom! Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is a broken man after he loses everything including his job and fiancée. Just when his life is at its lowest, he becomes host to an alien symbiote which results in extraordinary superpowers - transforming him into Venom. Will these powers be enough for this new lethal protector to defeat great evil forces, especially against the far stronger and more weaponized symbiote rival, Riot? Review: Love Venom Tom Hardy brilliant actor! - One of the best anti hero character movie. Film has kept all simple yet entertaining. There was no confusion about how the movie started and ended, as all were perfectly placed. Tom Hardy no doubt as always different and bring something fresh. No question to the talent he has and should be use by marvel where they could. It's sad though Venom will not be the part of avengers in near future same like wolverine. Wherein this could have been gone to another level of greatness. Well but since after credits they have now revealed that sequel to Venom is confirmed so thing will be exciting. Great display of acting and direction. Script is handle very well with good visuals. Yes the villain could have been more stronger but it worked out pretty well with Riz Ahmed. Michelle Williams looks really different and great from way she looks. I suggest this is worth watch movie at least once if now twice. Audience can enjoy Tom Hardys acting and won't find it difficult to understand as subtitle is available in English. That's one thing good about Sony Pictures. In fact all Hollywood movies should have English subtitles in Indian Theatres as their accents is difficult to understand and may not have fun if not understood. I do recommend it and have seen venom: let there be carnage. Brilliant as well! Review: A decent sci fi movie for once - I had this on my list to look at for quite some time and as it's lockdown and I am going up the wall with boredom I took the plunge and fired up my DVD Player and settled down.Tom hardy plays Eddie Brock and investigative journo who opens his mouth to a powerful industrialist and gets himself and his girlfriend fired. due to this his life goes down the pan and he loses everything. Just as his life really hits the bottom he becomes host to an alien lifeform and it integrates into his body. His then starts to hear the aliens voice and thinking he is going insane he flips out in spectacular fashion. Ass he is now a host to the lifeform he develops amazing super human powers which are really something else (I wish I had these TBH). . My favourite part is when he is first "Infected" and he goes to a restaurant where he sees his ex during which time he really looks ill and he can't get the voice of the alien out of his head and he gets hot so he climbs in to the Fish tank to cool off. I don't want to spoil it but this film has really got some very excellent special FX and is exciting to watch. I really want there to be a second film and maybe one more after that too.

EDDIE BECOMES A HOST TO AN ALIEN PREDATOR
I myself had no preconceived notions about the film, had avoided all write-ups and reviews until now... ....well, as i have mentioned before i do have a thing for special-effect movies, really love the concept, this film certainly has shed-loads of c.g.i to cherish. The film tells of how a space-probe has collected symbiotic-life forms from a comet it encountered to bring them back to Earth for the probes owners Life Foundation a Bio-Engineering Corporation based in San Francisco to investigate.....the probe crash-lands but the alien specimens survive the impact. Successful investigative journalist's Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) life falls apart after he confronts the C.E.O of the Life Foundation Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed) about possible malpractices inside the facility........... Eddie not only looses his job but also his relationship with fiance Anne Weying (Michelle Williams) Down on his luck he turns to drink, his life becomes a mess....however, though he's no longer employed as a journalist his doubts about the Foundation fester...some time later he is given the opportunity to check-out the goings-on inside the facility by a scientist working there that doesn't like the practices used by the company C.E.O. What he discovers inside the labs is shocking, whilst checking the labs he'll come across what he believes to be a woman in distress trapped behind a glass barrier....he sets about freeing her but gets more than he bargains for.....the alien-being inside the woman transfers itself to Eddie. Early on the life-form using Eddie's body has the upper-hand in the relationship leaving the host with little or no control over the events that emerge. Sometime later Eddie and his inner-companion will confront the evil C.E.O who himself is now carrying an alien life-form within himself...............a battle between the two will follow. Having now watched the film i can easily understand both sides of the critics/reviewers arguments about the film......it's certainly different, having an Alien within holding a conversation with it's host is certainly something you'll either love or hate. Because of the films graphic content in terms of violence it is worthy of it's ''15'' certificate. Myself - Am really not sure of how i feel about the film, often comical, frequently violent though in truth it did hold my attention throughout....i'd say give it a go, judge for yourself.

Absolutely fabulous nonsense
I am not a Marvel comic book reader and the recent influx of 'Superhero' movies at the cinema made me hesitant to order this film. However, I know that no matter how bad a film is, Tom Hardy always gives a great performance and so I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. This movie will appeal to Marvel comic enthusiasts and those who have never heard of Marvel equally. From beginning to end it is fast-paced, really well written and Tom Hardy is excellent in this role. He is brilliant at comedy. From the beginning of the film, I was hooked and didn't want the film to end. I especially enjoyed the cameo by Stan Lee. So if you are looking for a film that does not takes itself too seriously and is a bit of fun, I highly recommend 'Venom'.

Symbiosis
An attempt at doing a film franchise using supporting characters from Spider-Man comics begins with Venom. A completely fresh take on the character, so forget the version you saw in Spider-Man Three. For the uninitiated, Venom is an alien symbiote bonded with a human being who has been villain, monster, anti-hero, and many other things in his time. This is not from Marvel studios, so is separate from those films entirely. And parents please note the 15 certificate. So even though it's a comic book movie, it's not suitable at all for anyone under that age thanks to the level of gore. Is that clear? Good. Eddie Brock [Tom Hardy] is an investigate journalist who cares far more about getting the story than people. So he manages to lose his livelihood and absolutely everyone and everything he has. Meantime, a rich inventor has ambitions. And doesn't much care about who gets hurt along the way either. When things conspire to let Eddie and Venom get together, it's the start of a very interesting relationship... Venom is a character that probably needs an 18 certificate film to do him justice. So in a world where those can be box office poison for big studio movies, you are likely to get a project that will have studio interests and artistic vision conflicting. With the consequences of a slightly choppy film as a result. There are obvious cuts, with a few clear jumps at some points. And despite Tom Hardy doing his best, you have lead character who aren't all that sympathetic, and Michelle Williams does get landed with an underwritten role as the female lead character. But once Venom does take centre stage, this does start to manage to be what it possibly could. The relationship between him and Eddie is quite fun, and the highlight of the whole thing - in a black comedy way at times - and although it has to go through predictable origin movie dynamics, by the time it gets past that, it has come to life and knows what it wants to do. Which is be a 15 certificate rather an 18 certificate take. One of those films that turns out to be better than expected, if all you have heard about it in advance is negative. It's a long way from being perfect. But now Venom has reached the screen and done well enough at the box office to give a sequel the go ahead, it can only develop from here. And this film is just enough to make you want to give anything that comes next a chance. There is an extra scene during the end credits. At the end, you get a preview of 'Spider-man into the spiderverse' via a long scene from that. The dvd has the following language and subtitle options: Languages: English, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, English audio description. Subtitles: English, Danish, Estonian, Finnish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Swedish, Ukrainian. The disc begins with a generic anti piracy ad, and one single trailer. The latter turns up in the preview section of the extras on the disc anyhow. Only other extras are: sneak peek of Spider-Man into the Spiderverse. The same scene from after the end credits of Venom. Sunflower, a music video from Spider-Man into the Spiderverse. And Venom. A music video of an Eminem song about the character. Which uses no movie clips at all. And is three minutes of your life you will never get back. Avoid.
