Full of information to work on my bike

From the other reviews on this manual, it's a good reference just need to use some common sense when reading about torque settings as some of the references are backwards like for example it may say the tighen the head down in inch pounds vs foot pounds and vicse versa. The Honda manual is said to be better just more expensive for a used one. I wanted a new edition for cheaper price that is why I chose to buy this manual. I am very happy with it so far!

The technical information is accurate and complete. At the time my bike broke, I was on my way to the hospital to visit my 79 years old father who had fallen and broken a hip. The mechanic told me it would take him at least a week to start working on the bike because he really was backed up with other motorcycles. That same day I ordered the manual, and asked for next day delivery. Then started working on the bike, which is currently my only means of transportation. After troubleshooting the electrical system, I knew the stator was gone and the same day, I bought a new stator for $340.00. The next day I took the stator cover out and waited. About two hours later, the manual arrived. The manual led me step by step to replace the new stator, so that night, my bike was fixed. The labor cost alone was more than the cost of the book and delivery put together. But more important, I did not have to wait a week to visit and help my father, who is currently recovering from his hip surgery. I am very satisfied with this purchase!

My first experience with a Clymer book. Well written, easy to understand, lots of photo's and step by step procedures. I am not any kind of tool guy, yet I found at least the basic things easy to understand. I won't be rebuilding the motor or transmission after reading the book, but I would have never tried that anyway. Shipping (basic no express) seemed very quick and the shipping price was reasonable. I shopped for the "best price" for this book and was pleased to find the lowest price here. If you need a shop book, this publication is worth every penny.
