Guide For selecting Suitable ram for your laptop: Download CPU-Z Head over to spd to check your current ram specifications. If it draws 1.35V then it is a L( low ) ram , DDR3L. If it draws 1.5V then it is a normal ddr3 Ram. Also by heading over to the memory section in CPU-Z you should also match CL of ram.. In this case this is a CL11 ram. My Review About this RAM: works completely fine with my 10 years old lenovo z50-70. They sent me a very much newer ram( checked it with CPUz) .Added another 8gb of this ram in my laptop.. During first two or three boots the system works slow because of a newer memory.

I have just bought this lpddr3l 8 gb ram for my 7 year old Lenovo g50-70... Previously I have upgraded to 240gb wd green SSD...after upgrading to SSD, the speed was insanely good. Before upgrading your old laptop, I would suggest you to buy a SSD first. Now let's talk about the ram. It is cheap .. I bought it around 900, so I was not sure about the product's quality. I got the product for about 7 days duration. It's just pathetic that they send their parcels through post office, and we Know how our post offices are..any way... The product was genuine and new... I have set it as a secondary ram... Now it's working fine...it handles most of the casual task ..games have slightly imporovement...what more you can expect from 7 year old pc... At last I would say ...buy it ..it is not a fake product..and it works fine for sure...

I had bought a 8GB DDR3 ram (was upgrading from my existing 4GB (2+2). I recieved a defective product. The laptop was detecting the ram, and it was showing 8GB in bios. But when you are booting it was blue screen. Unfortunately my windows crashed as well after I installed this ram. I had to give it to service center for re-installation of windows and other softwares. I tried this ram again, but didn't worked again. I complained this after 4 days of purchase to Amazon. They promised an investigation and issued a refund on completion of their investigation. May be it was my bad luck. But I would not recommend simmtronics as a good brand for ram. I thank team Amazon for issuing refund. Atleast I could bear the unnecessary re-installation of windows expense.
