What is the measurement -long and withd of the housing?

roughly 2ft x 1 ft more or less

is there recommended size type of propane tank to get for this?

I just use a 5 gallon tank. Works fine.

does it come with a regulator?

Yes it does. I am not sure if I was unlucky or the part was poorly made. After using the product since May 2017, the regulator was defective that caused gas leakage. I contacted the seller and they offered to address the issue very professionally, even though the product return period has passed. Hope this helps.

Can I use this with a wok?

Definitely. That is what I use it for.
