This is not a Con, but just something to keep in mind. If you use the wrong wall anchors or try to mount something of excessive weight, you will have a bad experience.That being said, I love these hangers! The ability to rotate the arms give a wide variety of options to hold items of varying widths and angles. The thick base holds items away from the wall; which is super helpful for things like firearms, instruments, or anything else of fair thickness. The neoprene foam around the arms ensure a no slip, snug, and non-marring grip on the item being held.I said the arms are plastic, but a strong plastic, ABS maybe... This is not a criticism, just something you should be aware of when deciding what you're trying to hold. For example, maybe don't use these to hold a ladder or something that obviously requires a metal arm fastened in to a stud.I did not use the provided drywall anchors, as I have my own upgraded self drilling ones that I use. To be fair, I don't use any "included" drywall anchors with any product anymore because they are inferior more often than not.I love getting the pair of these and am looking for an excuse to purchase more. The shotgun is only 3 - 4 feet from my side of the bed, and if needed, it would only take me about 1 - 2 seconds to get to it. For welcome visitors in our home it is not visible. for unwelcome visitors it would be visible in my hands almost instantly.
