FISHING IN THE GULF OF MAINE
The Power pro went from purchase to the Gulf Of Maine 2 hours out of Ogunqit with 7-10 foot seas and +-300 feet. The rip was fast but felt the weight found bottom in a decent amount of time with a 20oz weight and the braid being 100lb. Happy to say the line knoted up only once on a casting drop where I had spliced the mono backing to the braid. Overall, great for that depth with good responce to set the hook. The blue sharks did not put it to the full test for me that day.

Powerpro is great
I have had 10 lbs power pro on a little spinning rod, 15 lbs power pro on another baitcast, and 100lbs powerpro on 2 different baitcast rods, over the last 4 years. NEVER has this line broke/cut/snapped/whatever you want to call it, on a fish. I have put my 10lbs test, to the test on a 15 lbs monster before with my drag accidentally locked down and it didn't break. The only thing I don't like about powerpro, is that it makes a very tiny amount of noise going through the guides. Other than that its great line.

Braid
Bought this at a fantastic price, I believe $23 for 300ft. Though I am mad because I had the line snap when I set the hook on a musky. Sucker, sucker harness and musky all gone on one set. Ive always used power pro so I dont know if it was deeply discounted because it was an old batch or what. Im going to start checking the packages if there is a born on date.

Excellent Line!
What can I say?!?! I fish very deep waters, we're talking 300 feet deep (coast of Maine) and this has NEVER snapped... I pulled some biggies on this so I am super happy and definitely will order more if needed.

Not just for fishing
I used this fishing line to hang potted plants. Great strength, durability, and hard to see. Looks like plants are floating in mid air. Satisfied.

I bought it with great discount. It is winter now, so I don't have chance to test it now. But I trust the brand of powepro. The only thing I am not that happy is that the box of this fishing line is almost damaged. It does not look like a brand new product. But I am sure it is not opened. Anyway, in general, I am still happy to buy it.
