I was a little sceptical when I read a few reviews that the studs were held in place with prongs and was prepared to modify them with a backing piece of leather. Much to my surprise, when I received the item, the studs were held in place by what looks like flat rivets which don't cut into the shoulder or whatever clothing you're wearing.Very pleased by this.
