Great product
Bag came fully colonized and air exchange bag looked great. I would recommend buying the soy wax from the same company. Logs are plugged and waiting for fall.

They grew after 6 months, now 2nd. year, and producing like crazy!
It took fall to spring to finally produce the first year. Now, it's the second year, and they are producing like crazy! This is my third flush for this year.

18 months later... finally!
I didn't have high hopes of these plugs actually producing fruiting bodies as they arrived with hardly any active mycelium showing. Alas, 18 months later and after countless hours spent watering and grumbling, I am speechless with joy. I don't think I'd order them again, as there are better(cheaper) ways to inoculate logs, but they are producing nice oyster mushrooms, and I'm very happy, now, with my purchase!

Didn't Work - 3 Purchases over 2 Years
First I bought Shitaki. Those didn't grow at all. Two years later, I bought again. Tried to use it to spawn sterilized grain in a climate controlled greenhouse. Nothing. Lastly, I tried this one - the oyster mushroom. This is by far the easiest mushroom to grow. In my case, though, nothing yet again. You're basically paying for a bag of wooden dowels with a little grain spawn thrown in. Oh, and the grain they use wasn't sterilized. The grain seeds were the only thing I could get to grow. Wasted over $50 on 3 failed orders.

2 flushes even on straw
These mushrooms were extremely easy to grow. I purchased dowels for multiple projects. Grain spawn bags, sawdust blocks, 5 gallon buckets, hay bale, even logs. So far I've had good growth in both my grain bags and sawdust blocks, and the 5 gallon buckets full of straw produced 2 flushes after 2 months! 1 bucket I added dowels as I put straw in, and 1 bucket I filled with straw and pushed the dowels in through some of the holes I drilled. Definitely a fun easy mushroom to grow with a variety of ways you can grow/inoculate with dowels.
