As a very quiet and soft spoken individual it put me at odds with others a few times because of the added aggression and assertiveness, which surprised the crap out of me in a bad way. However the extra energy to finish all my work throughout the day and having the extra boost to not skip a workout is fantastic. Helped my mood improve and made me noticeably more positive and social, but I also experienced some mood swings as well that were not comfortable to deal with. Increases sex drive, so if you're not looking for that, I would not recommend this product at all as it can become distracting. Shilajit definitely works, but you have to weigh the benefits to the drawbacks and decide if it's worth it to you. I'd imagine this is what using anabolic steroids feels like to a new user: aggressive, horny, and moody.

A friend hipped me to shilajit. This stuff is amazing. It's been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries and is cherished as a powerful healing substance in eastern traditions. I'm glad I ordered from Adaptive and got a good product on my first order. Apparently they make Purblack, which is the higher end. But this shilajit is very good and high quality from what I can tell. It has kind of a dense earthy aroma/taste, very black, resinous and sticky. I've been putting it in my coffee every morning and there's a noticeable difference in my mood and energy levels. This stuff is dank. Thank you!!

Love this shilajit resin. I have only had powdered shilajit in the past and I find this much more powerful and effective. Directions say to dissolve in water or take a smaller amount under the tongue. I prefer taking directly in the mouth for instant energy and other indescribable effects!

I wanted to wait till after I finished my first jar in order to give a proper review. Shilajit has changed my life. After a month of taking it every day I felt myself having more and more energy, I felt a lot happier in my day to day life, and the craziest thing that happened was I started to dream again. I never tried shilajit before. I had heard about it. So I didn't know what "right" shilajit looks like. I will describe what I received.1. Its a small glass bottle filled with very thick, sticky black substance. the consistency is very close to almost dried up honey. You have to make an effort to scoop out a pea size portion. Also its very sticky and stringy.2. Has a very strong smell3. Dissolves in water. But takes minutes. Warm / hot water makes it dissolve faster.4. almost seems like medium to dark brewed coffee once fully dissolved.5. Still maintains strong smell even after dissolving.6. earthy tasteI have been trying it for 2 weeks now, on empty stomach in the morning, which is the right way to consume. So far, frankly I have not noticed any difference, or the energy rush etc. or nothing diff. than what you would get with a hot coffee in the morning.I will continue to take it to see if does really do anything.

For half the price of all leading competitors I was originally a little wary of the quality of the product- as most others I've tried end up being closer to rocks colored with tar than any genuine Shilajit. This, however, smells, tastes, and most importantly FEELS like every other higher-end Shilajit product I've tried over my nearly 3 year long experience with it.Thank you for providing a quality product that a college student can easily afford (especially because the more you get, the more you save!).
