DO NOT BUY!
I wish I gave this product a -5! I should have listened to a reviewer who said this battery damaged their computer—it did the same to mine! When I plugged it in, I saw a spark, and afterward, my laptop showed "Battery Not Detected.' A technician found two bent copper pins due to misalignment of the connector, which caused a power spike that killed my laptop. I had to replace it with a used computer of a similar model and could incur over $300 in data retrieval repairs on the old hard drive. I'm furious Amazon sells such knock-offs. The battery photos lack the HP symbol, noticed only after the damage. Please spend extra to buy a genuine HP battery or hire a tech for installation. I hope this warning saves others from data loss.

It works well.
Replacing a battery in my hp spectrum 13 v000. The original battery was so swollen that it popped the bottom cover edge snaps all around. This one was a tiny bit small. I was able to get all 6 of the larger screws in, but could only get 3 of the 4 smaller ones, as the last hole just wouldn't line up. Other than that, it works perfectly. The screwdriver they provide was just a bit big for the 4 small screws. Fortunately I have a precision one of the right size.

Easy to change out
Came with the required tools. If you have even a tiny amount of mechanical aptitude, this is a quick and easy job.If not, just take your time and follow the instructions. It is very doable for anyone to succeed.

Good replacement for our laptop
Went in with no problems. Way cheaper than having it replaced. Was not hard to do couple of screws, time and a little patience. Saved $100s

Reasonable Replacement battery - Not exact
Able to replace the battery relatively well; however, the plastic tabs do not align great. I could not replace the small screws on the left and right portions of the batter. The battery is pretty snug in the laptop case, so it probably won't affect too much. So currently I have two tabs on the sides without screws. The bottom 3/4 fit well and the 2 mid battery fit great. Update later regarding battery life. Came 50% charged.
