PKCELL 9V Batteries 100 Pack 9 Volt Battery for Smoke Alarms

Coming back to write a review! I bought these and replaced them in all of my smoked detectors in my house in July 2025, it is not September 2026 and they are all dead and needing replaced! They lasted a year and two months! I think that is a great deal for the price!

Best price I have found for 9V and they were in my hands within 3 hours. Saved us from having a permanent panic mode dog for longer than necessary, since they were for the smoke detector.

For the price I am gonna give them a 3 and not 1. But when I bought it it stated last 10 years now not even a year after is death. Plus a newones I had all of them are very low. See picture

I bought these to go in fire alarms and they work very well. Sometimes they are a little hard to put in but it is doable. I try to buy the alarms that are compatible with the same batteries so that I will always have them on hand.

I haven't used any yet

They seem to be well constructed. I use them in the smoke detectors in our home time will tell, but for now I’m very pleased with the price and the way they appear to be constructed.

I picked these up because the price was right for a simple 9V replacement. It is important to note that these are Carbon Zinc (often labeled "Heavy Duty"), not Alkaline or Lithium. What does that mean? They are significantly lighter and cheaper, which is great, but they typically don't last quite as long as the big name brands in high-drain devices. However, for standard uses like smoke detectors, especially if you stick to the recommended schedule of changing them once a year, they work perfectly fine and save you money. If you need a cost-effective battery for household safety devices and aren't looking for 5-year longevity without swapping, these are a solid choice.

One battery received damaged

i bought a10 pack of 9v batteries, unfortunately not one of the battery had a charge. All of them had zero charge. i would think that Amazon would check the products that they sell. I am disappointed. thank you Edgar L'Ecuyer
