The properties of the perfect crimp are mechanical and electrical. When you crimp the terminal you reduce (squeeze) it by 18%. Squeeze to much will work harden the it. If you don’t squeeze it enough will give poor contact, any air will allow cuprous oxide forming on the wires. Possible short and overheating.
