Can’t give it a five star yet have not used it that many times but the times I used it. it worked well.

I have never seen or heard of a digital tape measure until recently when I saw an ad for one online. I did some searching and found this one from Azwkj. I do a lot of box packing and measuring with my home business, so I was curious if this digital tape measure would be something that could help mem be quicker, or if it would just take too much time. My curiosity got the best of me, so I went ahead and ordered one. A couple of days later the Azwkj arrived. It was packed in a small box, safely nestled in customized foam. Also in the box was a charging cord and instruction booklet. I was ready to charge it to test it out, but decided I would turn it on just to see if there was a partial charge. I could not believe it but it was fully charged already. The actual unit is just under 3 inches long, 1.4 inches wide, and 0.6 inches thick. Looking at the unit from the front like I am reading the display, there are two buttons under the display. The one on the left is the power button. The one on the right is for toggling between modes. The roller, which is how the measuring is done, is located on the left end. I turned on the unit and the LCD came on. All of the letters and numbers are bright, big, and easy to read. To measure, put the roller perpendicular to the surface you want to measure, and roll it from the starting point to the ending point. The measurement will appear on the display. If you want to change measuring from centimeters to inches to feet, hold down the right button for a few seconds while you watch the display, and you will see the unit of measurement change. Release the button when you get to the one you want to use. It’s really very easy to use, and the instruction manual is clear and simple to follow. This is a cool gadget, but I find that the roller does not always roll smoothly, leading to measurements that may be close, but not exact. If you are requiring exact measurements, I would not recommend this tool, but if approximations are ok, then this will do the trick. The price of only $26 is a fair one. The quality of this digital tape measure is good. It is well put together, it’s sleek looking, and the display is easy to read. The roller works on all surfaces as it is very versatile, however, it stick occasionally so this does affect the measurements you get. This is a very nice tool. It works by tracking the rotation of a guide wheel, and then using that to calculate how far the edge of the wheel has traveled, aka the measured distance. One super nice thing is that this allows you to measure non-straight curves extremely easily. It has a couple different measurement modes, which account for measuring various kinds of internal geometries where the tool body obstructs one’s ability to move it all the way to the edge of the distance being measured, as well as calculating the radius of a circle with the circumference measured by the tool. It is worth noting that in circle mode, it really is just providing a relationship between a measured distance and the radius of a circle that corresponds to it. So, if you have a radius, and want to find out what the circumference of that circle would be, you can simply move the tool along until the radius matches your value and read off the circumference. It will also get the radius whether your circle is in the xy plane, I.e. on a flat piece of paper, or extends into z, I.e a water bottle. It has an integrated rechargeable battery, and comes with a usb c charger. I do like integrated rechargeable batteries, even though they do go bad after a sufficiently long time. It looks quite nice, the display is great, the housing is great, and it even has a wrist strap. The only issue I have with it is that the long press buttons take too long to register(3s). Even 1s would be more than sufficient for a long press. It’s kind of annoying when you want to use a function requiring it(one of which is turning off the device), and you have to just keep waiting longer than you think you should. However, annoying as that is, it’s a pretty minor grievance, so I’ll still give this the full five stars.

One thing I immediately liked about this digital tape measure is the LED screen. It’s bright, clear, and very easy to read, which makes measuring a lot more convenient compared to traditional tape measures, especially in lower lighting. The tool itself is lightweight and simple to use, and I like the rechargeable design instead of constantly dealing with batteries. The rolling feature also makes measuring different surfaces feel pretty smooth and convenient. The only downside for me is that the measurements did not always feel super precise. For basic household measurements and general use, it still works fine, but I probably would not rely on it for anything requiring very exact accuracy. Still, for casual everyday measuring tasks, it’s a handy little tool with a nice easy to read display.

This is a very simple device, you set it to zero, set the roller wheel down at the starting point and run it in a line until the end point. It will tell you the feet and inches between start and end. It comes with a wrist tether and a short USB C cord to charge it. The device itself is very light and does not seem to be super high quality, though the reading were accurate compared to my normal measuring tape. It does subtract, as well, if you drive it backward, which is nice if you overshoot your end target. Overall, it works as advertised, the price point is on the higher end for this style of device and I’m not sure it’s worth the extra ~5$, but it is accurate with a smaller form factor so it may be exactly what you are looking for.

I was impressed when I received this digital tape measure. However, after using it for a while, I think some things could be better. Here is what I like… - It is nicely sized, small enough to easily fit in a pocket but large enough to hold comfortably. The rounded edges and smooth surfaces add to the comfort. - The LED display is top-notch with good-sized characters. The white characters on the black background make it very easy to read even at different viewing angles. - There is a good selection of measuring units (inches, feet, centimeters) which should meet most user requirements. - It is versatile for taking some measurements. Besides taking a simple measurement from point A to point B, different options are available to take into account obstructions on either side or both sides of the measurements (see attached photos). For example, taking a measurement of the inside width of a cabinet can be done which automatically takes into account the width of the tape measure. - Taking a measurement is very easy by simply moving the device with the wheel in contact with the surface. The wheel is good-sized with a good grip ensuring a correct measurement. I found that the device measures very accurately. - I like that while taking a measurement, the display continuously shows the measurement. - The dual displays are very useful for different types of measurements. For example, a measurement can be done up to a point which is recorded, then the measurement can be continued which will also record the cumulative distance on the second display. - I like that measurements can be made of irregular-shaped objects which can come in handy for some applications. - The circumference of a circle can be measured, although it would be tricky to get an accurate reading. Also, the diameter can be determined of a cylindrical-shaped object or a circle. Note that the diameter that is displayed is labeled with the letter ‘R’. I would think it should be ‘D’ (see attached photo). What I think could be better… - When taking the measurement of a horizontal surface, it would be easier to view the reading if the measurement was displayed horizontally instead of vertically. An option to switch how it is displayed would be nice. - Although the directions indicate how to take a measurement of a straight line, it took me a while to figure out that measurements must be done from left to right. I think it would be advantageous to be able to take measurements either way. - Although the directions specify how to operate the different functions, I found that it takes a while to get very familiar with them. I think this may be due to having only two buttons to perform the different functions.

This is such a neat little gadget to have with you at all times. I really like that it’s rechargeable and it’s so easy to use. It seems to be accurate, and the display is very legible for my old eyes. The quality is good as well. There are options to change the measurements from centimeters to inches to feet. It’s extremely portable because it’s so small, and it’s an excellent value for something you can reuse time and time again. I think this tape measure would be excellent to keep in a purse to take with you to the thrift store or furniture store if you know the measurements in your home. I usually keep a traditional tape measure with me for this purpose, but I’ll be utilizing this now.
