I bought Dad’s Root Beer Barrels as a gift for my husband, and they were an instant hit. They arrived right on time and smelled so good that I briefly considered keeping them for myself. The root beer flavor is spot-on—sweet, classic, and nostalgic in the best way. My husband is happily rationing them like a prized treasure, which means they’ll probably last him a few months (assuming my daughter and I don’t “test” a few more for quality control). Great taste, great quality, and a fun throwback candy that definitely delivers!

Best root beer barrels. I ordered a different root beer barrels that had chemical taste while these the root beer taste jumps out.

Root beer barrels are hard to find these days. Thank goodness for Amazon. I found Dad's Root Beer Barrels a few months ago and purchase a couple of pounds for my husband. I just completed my second order. He loves them. And delivery was speedy.

These are huge and while tasty, the root beer flavor is not that strong , some of them are a little gummy as well

I didn't buy these for me. I hate them. But he likes them a lot. They're accurate flavor and a good size. The candies are the real deal. The huge bag will last quite a long while. They smell as expected. And taste as expected. (Like medicine to someone who strongly dislikes rootbeer. But like rootbeer. Lol) they are definitely strong. I expect anyone who enjoys root beer would enjoy these treats. I just need them in Dr. Pepper flavor now. These would be a good stocking stuffer or Easter basket filler etc. simple treat that is hard to find just everywhere. Unique candy that most people probably will like.

These are hands down the best root beer barrels you can get. I like the strong A&W vanilla with the medicinal taste which these are. True to Dads root beer.
