Then my friend recommended me this kitchen knife, but I don’t think it would be a high-quality and sharp knife and before I got it. But actually, this was a super find at a great value.The edge: This cleaver knife was very sharp right out of the box. I have tried mincing parsley, dicing an onion, slicing winter squash and cutting carrots into thin strips. It made a clean, swift cut.The Balance: When I come down on the blade, the knife feels very stable. This well-balanced knife will make my job work easier.The Handle: I like the full tang design since it feels comfortable and secure to you. I could hold onto it effortlessly, and it didn’t feel slippery when wet.Bolster: The bolster adds strength and stability to this knife as well as act as a finger guard for my gripping hand.The spine: The thickness of the spine is around 2.5mm.Quite strong for chopping. The edge was polished and not rough.Very pleased! I'd give this cleaver more than five stars if I could.

X50CrMoV15.. the same material some high end Germany knife makers use
Bought this knive after realizing VG10 chinese chefs knife is pretty expensive. And this one was on sale for sub $20.I wanted something at least as hard as J A Zwilling Pro series knife. After searching around, I found J A Zwilling uses X50CrMoV15. The friodur ice hardened is Cyro treated. However I notice the Zwilling actually loses edge faster than this knife. Needless to say I am impressed. This knife is pretty nice. I was also able to re sharpen this blade easily.Also there are a lot of people who say it gets dull when you cut bones.. It says in the product page not to cut bones, joints and frozen meat. It is not a clever. It is technically a Chinese vegetables knife. If you want to cut bones get a clever.

Boy! Do I love this knife!!
I've always drifted towards the butcher style knives1. This thing is super sharp and hold edge very well. Great for all knife skills.2. The hand feel for me is great, i have a normal sized male hand.3. the size of the knife at first is a con however for a cleaver it is very light and great for scooping up what you cup. Very useful4. safety cause the size of the knife, large enough to glide with your knuckles.

meat cutter for pf changs
pic one is the 120 pounds of chicken and 60 pounds of beef i cut today9/11/2019 and was a breez with this knife as you see i have many but this one is by far the best its lightwight and sharp!!!!!!!! with really matter to me sine i have bad joints and my hands get sore It only weighs 14 ounces Compared to the 17 ounces of my gladiator makes a big difference

Impressed with quality to value
I'd been searching for a Chinese-style cleaver that was more all-purpose chef's knife than strictly a slicer/vegetable knife. This one really fits the bill. I'd ordered a different brand at first and returned it because the rivets on the handle protruded as did the top of the tang making the knife simply uncomfortable.No such issues here. The cleaver is full tang with nice smooth riveting on the (what I assume is phenolic) handle. But the quality of the cleaver itself is amazing given the price point. It is also a bit more substantial than the thinner models, but is nowhere near a meat cleaver's heft. It is well-balanced, feels good in the hand, has an amazing edge right out of the box, and slices cleanly. Will be my go-to for preps well as slicing meat before and after grilling.

Perfect for my mexican tacos bussines
This cleaver is amazing, is the perfect size and weight for my use, I use it for my bussines of mexican tacos, so I chop a lot of raw and grilled meat, its sturdy, and keeps a sharp edge for long periods.

Great tool
This knife has been everything I hoped for. I smoke a lot of meats and this knife cuts everything I have thrown at it with ease. It is extremely sharp and handles very well. It cleans up easily but use caution so you don't nick yourself. Would be nice if it came with some sort of sheath but you can buy one easily enough.

Great addition to any kitchen knife collection
Unlike my other chopping knives this has a completely straight cutting edge which I find to be more efficient.This is a little on the heavy side but that can be very helpful when cutting long ways through a butter nut squash or solid rutabaga.I keep a sharp edge on all my knives, this one does not require as much sharpening as my others.
