AMAZING hair tool!!!!
I love this hair tool! it is so easy to use and my curls lasted for days! I have really think hair so if I curl it with a curling iron it normally looses shape after a few hours. But with using the twister my hair looked amazing throughout all of day 2 and i needed no touchups! I even received so many compliments on day 2! And even with my long thick hair I only needed to divide it in the 4 sections. This is an amazing product! Spread the word ladies, everyone can have amazing hair! I'm in love!

Not a good buy
Item does not fit a hairdryer properly and therefore falls off. Unlike the shown picture, the longer tube is blocked off by a plastic mesh that isn't removable. Because of that the hair section doesn't have space to twist to create the desired result. There's a long and thin plastic stick that suppose to attach to the longer tube so strands of hair would twist around it. That stick doesn't fit either.

I LOVE IT, but not everyone will.
For me, this product was a 5 star, but for the general public it would probably be a 4.Really, it only works when using a professional grade blow dryer with a diameter of approx 2in (mine is 1.75in and works great) - if you try using a less powerful blow dryer, it won't generate the results you want. Also, not all blow dryers will fit in the opening. Also, different hair types may not see as good of results. I have straight, long, thin hair that has NEVER stayed curled. I have used every trick, product, and tool in the known beauty world and nothing short of getting a perm kept my hair curly in the past. Right now, I'm writing this review and I did my hair 4 hours ago with the forstyler and my hair is still curly with NO PRODUCTS! I do also split my hair into 6 to 7 sections vs. 4 and then I don't have to dry it as long and the curls are tighter and stay in longer. The smaller the section, the tighter the curl. The instructions are kind of confusing, I'd recommend watching a video as that helped me a lot and took away the learning curve - it really is super easy to use if you watch a video. The final part that I don't really like about it but is just the nature of the beast is that the valve that changes air directions and allows you to curl your hair facing different ways, gets a little loose when heated (it's plastic and the air coming out of the blow dryer is really hot) so you have to really make sure the valve is facing the right way just before you turn the dryer on. Once the dryer is on it stays in place. Your hair will still curl if you don't do this it just might not be in the direction you'd like.So basically, for me I LOVE LOVE LOVE it, however it isn't perfect.

Works but not as easy as the instructions imply - hair type is important
If you have thick hair (meaning - lots of hair) and/or coarse hair (meaning each strand is thick), you'll need to separate your hair into more than 4 sections - I need to do 10. Using it without the twisty rod is useless for getting curls. Best to use some sort of volumizing heat spray or mousse before you start, unless you want flat hair in a few hours. Don't put your bangs in either - unless you're okay channeling Pretty Woman from the '80s. Don't brush your hair out, just finger separate the curls to avoid frizz head. This saves me about 30 minutes from my normal routine, which is to use Velcro curlers, hairdryer, and then curling iron. Forstyler's curls/waves don't last as long compared to using traditional Velcro curlers/curling iron, but works similarly to some of those hot air brushes that allow you to dry your hair as you curl it up on a brush attachment at the end of what is essentially a curling-iron shaped hair dryer. Drying your roots first then using Forstyler isn't as good for root volume as using curlers, but it's still a fun option to try and gives you a different look. I wish the heating chamber had a handle on it though - it gets super hot and it's tiring to hold the hair dryer in one hand only. Simplifies my routine for sure.Does fit pro style hair dryers. No problems with it falling off.My hair is straight and strong, about armpit length, with some long layers and is a natural color (no dye). The layers are a little annoying in the Forstyler, so I section those off and dry them separately from the longer pieces. If you don't - they tend to pop out and get all tangled. If you find that the curls fall out in a few hours - you might not be using enough heat. I have a pro blower that gets super hot, which is what is needed for my coarse, thick hair. People who find that 4 sections work for them likely have fine or normal hair strand thickness. I use my curling iron at the highest possible setting, so that gives you some idea of the kind of heat I need with a hairdryer. If I do not use the hottest setting on my hairdryer, I'll still get curls - but they'll fall out faster and be just slightly wavy.
