I am really disappointed and kind of numb about this whole thing.I was so excited about the Brightech LED Lamps that I purchased 5 of them & was actually about to purchase 2 more of them when just after a week, in the center of one of my ARC LED Floor Lamps, a dark spot appeared!Also at the very end of the lighted portion of lamp, towards the bottom, there’s another dark spot beginning to appear. Then I noticed on my other ARC this same dark spot beginning to appear, WOW.I can’t tell you how shocked and disappointed I am! I went from having so many compliments (I shared it on my social media because it was so cool & Sci-Fi to me) but now the compliments are turned to jokes, I just can’t believe this has really happened The disappointment is rather pronounced.Now I have the realization of the POOR QUALITY of these products. Now it seems I have to buy ALL new lighting all over again because I am sure the rest will start going out from my experience of these 2. The marketing estimated that these lamps would all last YEARS and not just days 😥Buyer Be AWARE - These lamps are soo cool looking but it only seems to last for a few days. I have never left a negative review before but I feel the company needs to be aware & prospective consumers also need to be aware.

So, after owning these for a few weeks, I came back to this product page in a bit of disbelief... how these things could possibly have anything higher than a cumulative 2-3 stars is appalling to me. It is clear that the rest of the reviews were largely made right after purchase, possibly even before assembly.I purchased 7 of these for my new apartment, all 7 in the silver finish. Of the 7, five of them had hideously scratched bases right out of the box. I don't know if they were returns/repackages or if they just scratch easily during manufacturing. The scratches I could live with, not the biggest deal in the world, especially at the sub-20 dollars per lamp I paid.One of the seven lamps had an incorrectly drilled base hole, making it impossible to put together. So one was straight up useless out of the box. It went in the garbage.After a month, 2 of the remaining 6 lights now have burnt-out LEDs/dark spots in the strip, making them look even more cheap and ridiculous.Four out of seven lamps actually assembled and worked as intended. That's a pathetic 57% success rate. AKA they grade out an "F" on a letter grade scale.Sometimes you luck out and can find solid products at affordable prices. I took the risk and got burned. The amount of time it'd take to repackage and ship these back to Amazon isn't even worth it (especially the way they're packaged, it's pretty much a one-way deal, no getting this lamp back into that box) so overall I would say it is NOT worth the risk of buying these, considering you have barely better than a flip of a coin in getting a good one of these.No more Brightech for me.

I am redoing my son's living room and I wanted something unique. I sure found it! And such a bargain at $20! It's Unique and very bright but has three settings. I especially like that you can use the floor button to turn it on and off. Love love love it! Totally worth the money and it really eliminates the space. Perfect for my son's gaming and theater room! A real conversation piece.

Lamp is uber-cool, very stylish, but the one I received CAN NOT be assembled due to a lack of correct parts to screw together components, instructions that show you how to properly assemble, plus poor delivery quality that completely prevents a buyer to put what should be a very basic process together. P.S. I'm a CEO of a Facilities Management Company; constructing and maintaining buildings is my expertise!

I love the design of this light. It way, however, the very hardest thing I ever had to put together! It really needs two people. I couldn't get the lamp onto the base because the base is heavy and I couldn't get the lamp to stay flat to get the screws in. I got one, but the other just didn't work. I had to find a longer one, which then went in easily! Again, I love the design of this lamp! Again, however, it is way too bright - even on the dimmest setting. To put this over any sofa, will blind the people sitting on it! I think it would be better if the light part was on the top of the arc, so you didn't have to look at it directly. Trying to find some place to put it now, where it will work, since I can't put it where I wanted to. But I love the design!

Love! Came in three pieces: base, bottom of lamp, top light bar. One screw to attach lamp to base. Small, but not too difficult. Used the wrench that came with. Then I pulled the cord tight and add a small set screw to hold two pieces together. Very small, but again, used the wrench provided. Even came with extra screws just in case! Who does that anymore?! Thanks! It would have been difficult to assemble by myself, but probably not impossible. Love the light. Three settings are perfect. I actually usually read on the lowest setting. Love that it doesn’t block the view out our windows. And the price! Wow! Couldn’t be happier w my purchase.

i wanted to use it for over a bed that didn't have room for a night table lamp. couldn't fit the screws in the base, theywere not fitting. and like i said the on off dimmer switch was say to short and noway to extend it. so it could not be use for the purpose i needed i have only had this lamp since nov. and the bulb is flickering already.

Was really hoping for clean white light but this was a warm white so it does look a little yellow. At the highest setting, it does give out more heat than any LED I’m familiar with. I do use this at its lowest setting which is perfect for ambient background lighting as the evening dies down. Love their contemporary look and the lowest setting is something I can live with ... almost returned them because of the heat emission.
