Very soft and thick, good for protecting knees. However, it stretches when doing moves like Downward dog, which is not good for your balance or keeping your position. I maybe used it a few times before purchasing a high density mat for at the studio. I will use this one at home and it is falling apart already after a month of use.

Fibromyalgia and hard floors don't mix. After surgery, I needed to be able to do my physical therapy stretches every day at home. My flimsy yoga mat was making it impossible. I bought this extra thick mat and it works beautifully. I can lay flat on my back and do my stretches without the hard floor being a problem. I definitely recommend this product for anyone with chronic pain or joint problems who want to do stretches or yoga on a hard floor. And the length and width is great; I can move around quite a bit and stay on the mat. The only thing to keep in mind is that it easily tears, so don't let your dogs run across it like I did (I had it laying out to "uncurl"). But even with some dog toenail punctures, it still works great and that didn't take away from the effectiveness of the product.

I bought this as a ground pad for my sleeping bag, and it has been the best I have ever used! The one downside is also an upside, oddly enough: The surface is slightly tacky - just enough to pick up sand, small tigs/stones, stuff like that (downside), but also enough to keep it from slipping under a nylon-shell bag (or the bag slipping). Cleans up easily enough with water/soap and water, just adds an extra couple of steps to breaking camp...

It's a yoga mat, dude! What can be said, other than this is a well-made mat with a variety of potential uses. Arrives well-packaged and a variety of colors. My blue mat looks sharp and rolls back up nicely when done with it. They even make great sleeper cushions for camping or for slumber parties with smaller-sized kids! Recommended!

Right from the start, this was a good thick mat. I use it for exercising. I will say that after using it several times, it is starting to show where I put my hands, knees, and feet. It hasn't tore, and is holding up. The indentations don't bother me. I simply use them as reference spots for placement while I do my exercises.

I got this mat for my brother and he and myself was very very disappointed.First of all, the item was received a day late then when opened the item looked used.The item had holes in it and are very noticeable before even opening the complete item. I'm tall (5'10") and the mat is a great length. It is very squishy, but is easily damaged. After my first use it has wear and tear and even a rip, heck I wasn't even wearing shoes! But I think it will last me for a few months before it needs replacing. I have bad knees and it provides excellent support when I do "girl" push ups and other things on the floor. I recommend even folding it in half if you have bad knees, it makes for a perfect surface.

I use this for my back exercises, pilotes, and yoga. The mat doesn't slip and is a good size to not be so big that it goes into other people's space during classes but also not too small so you can stretch out on it. I love the green color that I got: it reminds me of grass and the earth which is good imagery for yoga. I do wish the straps were easier to put on since I have an older yoga mat where the straps were attached to the mat itself but it doesn't look like they make them like that anymore... Once you have the strap on you're able to walk around with it over your shoulder though so functionality wise its still very good

This yoga mat is super thick and cloud-like comfortable!Our local yoga place has a cement floor. My wife stopped going because her knees, ankles, etc were hurting too much since the thin yoga mat we had was not offering much cushion when on a rock hard floor.This thing is made of a super comfortable material that does not slip. You can use this on cement and not worry.It is a little difficult to do balance poses standing on this like tree or dancer, but just think of it as a challenge :)

That's what the mat looked like after the first use - 1 hour yoga lesson. Yoga instructor had a good laugh and told me to throw it out.

I didn’t like the smell at first few uses, but it’s gone after a period of time. The product itself is really good. Soft, thick and supportive.
