This is a nice design for a vice clamp. My old clamp was just setting on my work bench because it required being bolted to a surface and i didn't want to drill holes in my work bench. This one uses a a clamp (similar to a monitor mount clamp) that holds it tightly but also allows me to move it around depending on what i am doing. Its a smart design. The clamp also comes with soft rubber feet to allow me hold thing tightly without damaging them. Clamp also swivels if I need to turn something around in a different direction. Its heavy solid metal, clamps tightly, and has a smartly designed mounting system that provides a sturdy grip and flexible mounting locations.

Very good 3-inch bench vise. It is strong, easy to install, and holds pieces firmly. Good quality for the price. I recommend it
