Excellent sound quality - very crisp and clear. Used it with Digimore wireless transmitter. Giving excellent result. This will be an excellent karaoke and recording microphone for me.

I was looking to replace my old SM58 and I happen to look at this mic in a recording studio. Since I liked the vocal of that particular recording, I thought of giving it a shot ( I saw few YouTube videos comparing both SM58 and V7 ) and to my surprise, this mic out standing !! It doesn’t have the mud sound and the voice texture comes so clean that you fall in love with Vocals. The mic is sturdy and build quality is solid. I liked the fact that they have provided they have also provided little notches that prevents the mic from rolling over. This is also “ made in USA” whatever that means .. Simply put - the best mic I have so far had. Now on, I am going to stick to SE ..

I have the sm58, pga mics for decades and some vocal dynamic mics too. I compared them side by side...and i can clearly tell you that this mic is studio ready. i have EQed it to an extreme, still it sounds warm n full. Its a great vocal Mic and true to the tone of your voice. Buy it with eyes closed. You will never regret it. Its a mic for life, if you are a true performer. Beware, if your singer is bad, then it has the power to tell you that too. Thats the magic of it. i hope every music nerds like me understood it.

Waaao . What A Microphone . Best for Vocals , Instruments recording, best for outdoor recordings , best for noisy areas , with a little eq tweak, you can achieve the sound like tube microphones like u87, or Manley. Amazingly Done 👍🏻

I 'can' sing, and I bought this for that reason.. but I use it a lot for acoustic guitar plus singing. It has a balance that works well with a progressive acoustic guitar with an offset high shoulder soundhole and mixes well with your voice. I haven't tried compression as well but I'm sure that is dreamy with some reverb. Getting off topic though, for my voice which is baritone with range creeping up to other ranges ....this is a great mic. There was a raw fullness/ to the SM58 I'm not an engineer but it had a 1-3k quality that I found fatiguing. This doesn't have that, that range has clarity that doesn't hurt my ears as much. It also rejects feedback better than an SM58. The beta 57a is better for just acoustic guitar but not vocals for signing, and you could argue the 58a is better than this for vocals but isn't a guitar mic at all, ...if I was choosing this two I'd just get this and a regular 57 and/or two small condensers, If you already have the Beta 57a, this and that together are the perfect 2 mics for overall acoustic singer versatility. Add a rode NT1 and a plain 57 and you can basically record anything on a high beginner level..for a total price under $500...I think

This is a great vocal stage mic. Has good feedback resistance and sounds very good through a PA. I like it better than my SM58 for gigs. Not great for recording vocals but that's not it's intended use. Probably good for recording snare drum or electric guitar though but I've yet to try it for that.
