I use the PRO iteration of this product. The cleaning mechanism is a hybrid: ultrasonic cleaning action combined with physical soft brush rollers in a filtered cleaning solution & distilled water tank. An automatic drying cycle follows the cleaning bath. Compared to the VPI Typhoon record cleaner with appropriate cleaning solution, the System Desk PRO machine leaves a quieter, less static prone LP. Background grunge left by the top of the line VPI product is completely removed by the Audio Desk Systeme Premium Ultrasonic Vinyl Cleaner PRO. A fantastic product.

German engineering at it's best, poor quality. I purchase this item and I had to send it back to the manufacture 6 times. Be warned that this is not a Ultra Sonic cleaner as it was made to believe. When it broke down the 7 time I decided to repair it myself. To my surprise there was no Ultra sonic transducer and the amplifier was not a ultra sonic amplifier as might find in a true system. For that kind of price please look else where. Eg. The K L Audio is the only RCM which is a true Ultra Sonic machine in the world market for vinyl record cleaning.Do not believe all the reviews which was published in the magazine in the Audio World. The reviewer's do not know a genuine machine from the truth.
