I expected it to be a new item. I will keep it, as it looks and feels like new and I do not want to deal with returning it, but be aware that you might receive a used renewed item.

The device is great! It shreds easily anything you throw into it! It feels and looks like a commercial machine rather than household appliance. Amazon sent me a factory renewed item, which I did not expect as there is no mentioning that the item is factory renewed. I expected it to be a new item. I will keep it, as it looks and feels like new and I do not want to deal with returning it, but be aware that you might receive a used renewed item.
