Soap Carving Kit

This book is well written but not for beginners.I purchase this book for my grandson and together we were carving.For the price, I would suggest two of each carving tool and three bars of ivory soap.

I'm always looking for interesting arts activities for the kids, since I am sadly lacking in the area. This kit was a big hit -- it includes two bars of Ivory soap, several carving tools and a very good instruction book. Everyone in the family has tried their hand, and we find soap carving quite an enjoyable introduction to carving. We had everything we needed to get started. Great kit!

I bought this for my 8-year-old girl who wants to learn to carve. We are almost finished with the first project and she is loving it! My 6-year-old is also enjoying it. There are enough tools for one person, instructions for making extra tools, two bars of soap, and lots of ideas for projects.
