Dickies Men's Insulated Eisenhower Front-Zip Jacket

I added 3 pictures so the bigger guys could use as a reference I'm in the black and red hat red shoes. I'm 5 11" 260 lbs I ordered a XXL regular jacket. In the pictures the jacket might seem a little short but it's just my t-shirt it's a little long I rolled up my t-shirt and one of the pictures you can barely see my belt loop.The jackets it's exactly where I wanted it to sit around my waist just a little bit below my belt. If you look the sleeves are a little bit too long but it's no big deal. All in all I really like the jackets

Jacket has NO quilted lining as it says in the description. When I took the jacket out of the bag it came in I lifted it and could see the light of my lamp right through it! Very dissaponted!

Okay. Lots of exaggerations in the reviews posted here.....or a bunch of weird abnormal arm and torso length folks?It's a service type jacket. So it's gonna be short in length. This is the style. The sleeves are longer than usual compared to the length of the jacket. Not dramatically so....but a tad.I'm 5'10" 165lbs. Thinner but not mr. Salty. I got the large size. In pre washed condition....the sleeves hang with my arms down to the topside of the middle of my hands. Arms outstretched the sleeves pull back above my wrists. So not all that bad compared to every other large size jacket I've owned. The sleeves are baggy a bit but not dramatically so. I could fit a hoodie or fleece jacket underneath without being tight or weird.The length is about 1.5 to 2 inches below my belt line. So it's short by design. ...but not abnormal.It is lined but it is very thin and light. I wouldn't expect it to keep me warm in below 50 degree weather by itself.The material is stiff...Also by design for this type of jacket. I expect it will soften up after awhile but not a couple of machine washings.Fit and finish is not bad for the 30+ buck price range. Overall if I had trusted the bulk of the reviewers here...I wouldn't have bought it. Glad I was willing to risk my 30+ bucks. Way too many massive exaggerations and way too many who didn't understand the type of jacket that it is.So if you like a service or work type shorter jacket and want one lighter but with some lining...This one is pretty darn good for the cost. I should mention look at the pics of the jacket on the guy. If you are normal shaped like him and like the way it looks on him and don't have abnormal gorilla arms lengths and freaky torso lengths etc.....you should be happy with it.

5'11", 185lbs. Size large fits just fine. Hope this helps someone with questions about the sizes.

The zipper is junk. This is a good jacket. I've owned it just over a month, but, just like another reviewer said, and a comment to his agreed--they had the same thing happen--the zipper was troublesome at the bottom 2-3 inches of the coat, but then good once you muscled it past the sticky point. Now today, the zipper is completely useless. Get the zipper past the difficult part and it separates completely all the way up. You have to work extremely hard to get it down and open again. Try it again, a little more carefully this time and...same thing, a splitting zipper. When I looked to try to return the jacket, it was too late. I have always like Dickies but it looks like they've opted to start playing people with Chinese trash.

Bought this. Wore a couple times, went on the road working and forgot at home. Then winter came and so this spring I got it back out, wore it and got the shoulder muddy. Threw it in the wash, went to put it on a few minutes ago and couldn't zip it. The keeper that holds the zipper slide on was missing. One wash and it came off. Obviously the quality of Dickies has went down.

Very good I love it my go to work jacket as a mechanic a bit big for my small frame but worth every penny.

The Dickies Men's Insulated Eisenhower Jacket is a very nice jacket.I purchased this for myself, and use it while traveling to cooler climates abroad.The jacket has a very crisp look, and keeps me pretty warm. I have worn this in the cooler 40-degree weather, but I don't recommend this in temperatures below 40 because the collar is low, and you may need more insulation for your neck.The only downside to this jacket is it is a bit larger than expected for my size, the cut is not very slimming nor has a fitted look. It has more of a slightly oversized American square cut, kind of like those you see on truckers. Even so, you can comfortably wear a sweater beneath it and not feel stuffed into the jacket.Because of the sizing, the cut, and the very prominent Dickies logo, you might look very "American," if that is a security concern while traveling abroad. I've been in some countries where this is an issue, and I choose not to take this particular jacket when travelling to those areas.While the jacket packs well, because of the fabric, it is a bit heavier than the lighter down packable jackets being sold today.

I love this jacket, but the sizing is seriously out. I ordered the navy blue in a large (my usual sizing) and the jacket that came was freaking huge! After a prompt return and exchange I now have the medium and the jacket is now spot on.A few things to note: the bottom of the jacket does sit quite high on the hips. The zip is not great as it keeps sticking but you can rub a wax candle along the zips teeth and this helps hugely in making the zip move more freely. I would suggest the coat is more an autumn and spring coat one, though it is lined I can see the jacket not coping with extremely cold weather. But all of that aside though I love it.

zipper is the weakest i've ever had , it broke within 5 minutes of use and the most annoying part is the zipper is mechanical meaning without the zipper pulling down it will not unlock. had to put a knife in the zip to get it to go down. it's a nice looking jacket but the quality really isn't there. i'd go and look for something else because it's not like the fault is zip is going to get stronger once you get a replacement.

Wasn't black. It was quite faded looking compared to one I bought about 2 years ago from US but it was too big.Also after 6 months zipper just stopped working for no visible reason.My exact same US bought Dickies jacket feels like its made from way tougher material too.Bought in June 2017 needed replaced in December 2017.Otherwise a classic stylish jacket that will never go out of fashion.

This is a great jacket at a really good price but it’s let down by the zip. Although it appears heavyweight it’s badly made and after just a week or twos use it’s doing that thing where you zip up but the teeth don’t engage. I’ve tweaked the zip myself and got it to work but I’m considering if I’d be better returning it. It’s a shame because it really is a good product.

This is a very nice jacket but 3 of the buttons fell off within two months of buying it, not great from what is supposedly work wear. I contacted Dickies to try and get replacement buttons, they replied to my first e-mail then have ignored me for over a month, the buttons are for the side adjustment flaps which are now hanging loose so the jacket is pretty much unwearable without them.

My husband has been after a replacement for a band jacket he's had for years. It took me a while to figure out what this style of jacket was called but here it is.Good quality, well made and nice fit. My husband wears it all the time now!

Smart looking Eisenhower, the General would have looked good in it. Material feels like it will give some resistance to water, and the lining is light weight, so good for all seasons. I am 42 inch chest and the Large size fits comfortably, so there is no stinting on material. Nicely cut jacket that looks cool.

I bought this 5 months ago as a present for my husband. His size is medium and this jacket is slightly larger than medium size. In his case though this jacket is fitted as expected because he has long arms.The quality of the textile seems endurable( I stretched it hard but there was no sagging). The colour is all even( no colour patches or differences).The zip is up and down easy.The seam lines are ok( no fibres hang loose).A well wear item that doesn't go out of style. I highly recommend it.

Nice cut but I got xxl and the only grumble is that thearms are way too long like to fit an orangutanLuckily the sleeves can be folded up and shortened a bit.Nice jacket. I got mine for 50 should be 70

Jacket is great, material and style makes it a little heavy, but it's lined and warm so ideal for cold days. Also almost positive the material is coated in a water resistant coating , so that makes it even better! Quality as to be expected from a Dickies product, very durable and great quality. Would recommend.

I bought this jacket as it has padded insulation , but not to much, if your just about a large fitting buy a medium. ....this is a great quality jacket at a good price. ..

Exactly what I ordered. Was lined and fits well. Delivery was very fast. No problems at all.

The jacket is fine size fit quality everything was fine then after it had arrived eventually !! Amazon lowered the price so was a bit annoyed with Amazon

My son loves this jacket. Great value for money.
