Every Thing on It: Poems and Drawings

Everyone, adults included took several turns at reciting the poems over Christmas. My nephew loved the quirky verses and the book went everywhere with him, picking out his favourites to recite over and over again. Gem of a find, now we have to order the other titles by the wonderful Shel.

Shel Silverstein never disappoints and he is still going strong. I bought two earlier books for my children and this one is for my grandchildren. They love it!

Love this autor. His poems are so funny and if if most of them are for kids you can always find a nice lesson on all of them.The book is hardcover and it also came with a peper one to protect it.Loved it.

Perfect book. He continues to inspire my whole take on things, including adding to my tattoos! Beautiful book.

Both my children will read Shel's poems for hours at a time. A big big hit with the whole family.

I bought this book first for myself, and then thought that my 7 year old granddaughter would also enjoy it. I thought perhaps her parents would read it to her if she didn't read it herself. They live in the Netherlands and she, though American-born, is going to Dutch schools and is an excellent reader in Dutch. She (and her parents) wanted to give her more exposure to English. This seemed to possibly be a good tool. Bottom line, she loves the book "because the poems are funny", and I personally enjoy my copy for the same reason. She is reading it herself.

Finished reading this with my two young boys. Just as much fun as when I read it as a kid, maybe more!

Those are the words of my granddaughter as she was reading this book. She loves everything written by this author. She was very happy to receive another book to add to her library.

Beautiful collection of poems..My 9 year old daughter enjoyed reading it..Poem are simple and funny.

We love this book, it’s 1 of similar books made by same author. This has been read to all 4 of my children and it’s a wonderful memory. One of my kids was asked their happiest time and they said it was when they read this book with Mom.

The book is not sealed in plastic.The cover is folded and there is a dirty line in front.It is meant as a gift but now I am embarrassed to gift it as it looks like a second hand book.
